Why has Trump been AWOL when they were drawing up the bill yet his Sec of Treasury was his point person?  Trump abdicated his presidency on Nov 4 when FOX called AZ for the next President Joe Biden.

Gaetz is the Right's problem just as AOC is the Left's problem. While I never lived in the 1st District, I am quite familiar with Gaetz's district as it includes Pensacola, Ft Walton, and Destin.

Trump became the leader of the swamp and abdicated his presidency pardoning Jared's father. His father has a great past...his only problem was he got caught. Now, Trump gives the felon a pardon.

President Donald Trump continued his pardon spree on Wednesday, and alongside allies and former campaign officials, he pardoned Charles Kushner, the father of White House senior advisor Jared Kushner, who is also Trump's son-in-law.

The elder Kushner was convicted in 2005 for preparing false tax returns, witness retaliation, and making false statements to the Federal Election Commission. He pleaded guilty and served 2 years in prison.

Charles Kushner and his father founded Kushner Companies in 1985. Charles ran the New York City real estate company until he was sentenced to prison in 2005.

In 2003, prosecutors investigated him for making illegal campaign donations, and at the time, his brother-in-law and former business partner William Schulder had assisted their probe.

Once Charles learned of Schulder's cooperation, he hired a sex worker to attempt to seduce Schulder and sleep with him, an act that Charles had recorded with a hidden camera. He delivered the tapes to Schulder's wife (Kushner’s sister)as revenge.

In the end, Charles pleaded guilty to 16 counts of tax evasion, one count of retaliating against a federal witness, and one count of lying to the FEC.

He served a 14-month prison sentence in Alabama, where his family visited him on a weekly basis, according to the Real Deal.

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who prosecuted Charles Kushner as then-US attorney for the state, told PBS's Margaret Hoover on "Firing Line" in 2019 it was "one of the most loathsome, disgusting crimes that I prosecuted."

Kushner only lied, cheated and swindled.  Not good but, after all the man that gave the pardon has done worse. Trump's pardon of four Blackwater thugs that murdered in cold blood 14 innocent unarmed Iraqi citizens including women and children is what deserves universal and unconditional condemnation!

Same question.....this is a goose gander thing.  Which I can see well, and wonder why some have been pardoned over the years.  Terrorists, murderers.   But it is an action granted the Pres.  Are you ready to amend Constitution on this?

Yes...I felt that way after Clinton in 2001 pardoned Marc Richards. Granting pardons to political cronies like Trump has done really denigrates all the "good" Trump did as President. It shows a complte lack of character to pardon felons just because they support him.

"Trump was able to use it for good earlier" I can understand how you are ambivilant since  Trump pardoned good felons.  It is easier to not give it much thought and just go with the flow. Kinda like me and the fraud. Let's face it, Trump and his law and order are just myths now that I think about it. 

Have to wonder if trump pardons his kids, what crime did they commit that they need a pardon? It sure will give the State of NY Attorney General reason to wonder too. He needs to assume his kids are not felons waiting to be indicted.
