The anchor team for 12 1/2 years that was the highest rated, quit at the end of a broadcast just recently. They shocked management and staff.
In an interview after, they said ongoing disagreement with management to distort the news with a strong liberal slant led to their decision. As journalists, they could no longer be a part of misrepresenting facts and ignoring or not reporting on other events.
We need more of this. I am sure both will be rewarded with better jobs.

I only wish they would be rewarded for their courage and honesty but I doubt this will be the case. The left has a history of destroying and black balling anyone who exposes them. I would be pleasantly supprised if they were able to find another good job but I doubt it.

Would you be as concerned and impressed if a Fox News team quit because of right wing bias?
Hey Old Diver...still waiting for you to provide verifiable backup to your voter fraud charges from last week!!!

Fox News reporters have principles, they would fall on their swwwoorrdds rather than go to the Dark Side.

As usual you have missed the point ... the news is suppose to be the news ... people will have bias, but for management to ask them to not report the news or facts, or intentionally mislead is what over steps the bounds of journalism and in to campaigning.

You are absolutely right. The news is supposed to be reported without editorial comment or hint of personal bias. Now tell that to Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdock because they obviously have not gotten that message across to the "News" crews over at "We distort, you comply"!
|
When I watch they seem to always have both sides to discuss an issue ... yet CNN and MSNBC is always in the tank for the liberal side ... it is comical. MSNBC was so happy when Obama won ... is that unbiased and fair.
Please ... besides, this was a local Fox affiliate ... the anchors left because station management were forcing them to misrepresent the news and favor Obama during the election.
Face it ... other than Fox ... the media was Obama's cheerleader like little school girls.
BTW ... Obama thinks rates were so great under Clinton ... I say let them ALL go back to Clinton levels ... then when Obama and the dems scream that those greedy republicans did this ... I the GOP leaders say ... look ... that horrible Bush gave everyone the rates you have enjoyed all these years ... Obama thinks taxes under Clinton was better for the economy, so in fairness, we are all going to return to the rates under Clinton. Now if Obama wants to get serious about entitlement reform before it is too late, we can certainly talk about a different tax plan.

MSNBC is biased and does not claim otherwise. Fox claims no bias LOL. WW if you think Fox is unbiased ("fair and balanced") while CNN* is biased then I have some beachfront property in Nebraska I would love to talk to you about.
*Overall CNN is unbiased even though some of their on air people do have a liberal bent but compared to the constant extreme right slant on Fox by essentially every on air personality, any bias on CNN fails in comparison. If you cannot see this FACT you have been brainwashed beyond redemption.
|
You are not going to unload that beach property on me that you obviously bought in to ...
All I can say is Fox is still the #1 news station ... drives the liberals crazy since they do give both sides. The liberals hate that. What makes them #1 ... we learned from the last election that less people agree with their point of view. Could is be that fewer liberals actually care about understanding the issues? Or is it that educated people tend to be more conservative and actually watch the news, so they watch Fox?
I think it is both.

Cut and paste from archie:
MSNBC is biased and does not claim otherwise.
Cut and paste from Fox News:
In an interview with the Huffington Post,
MSNBC president Phil Griffin tries to push back against the notion that
his channel has become a mouth-piece for President Barack Obama.
"This channel has never been the voice of Obama. Ever," Griffin tells Michael Calderone of the Huffington Post.
But, Calderone writes, "Griffin acknowledges that his hosts are more
likely to agree with Obama on policy matters than with Republicans, but
rejects comparisons to Fox News." Link to full article:

So Archie your or either ignorant, to bias to see the truth, or just a plain old run of the mill LIAR. I personably think some combination of all three. Your post and their words can't both be true. Care to try again?
