I thought the sun would shine, all our gas tanks would be full, all wars would stop and the world was going to change?!?!? What a joke....

and all the restaurants, hotels, taxi drivers, limo rentals ... It's a big week for DC and all the people that work there outside the government.

Things did not change overnight. Market is going to continue to fluctuate, the housing crisis still isn't solved and businesses are still closed. But, I'm optimistic -- after all we are finally rid of Bush. Tomorrow is the first day of the US recovery.

Go ahead, continue to blame Bush for everything...while the folks that actually are responsible are still sitting in Congress and will continue to do what they have done for the last 12+ years. It will be interesting to see what you have to say in a few years when things are in the same shape because the 'lawmakers' are still carrying on business as usual and there is no Bush around to take the blame. What a total crock.

But it is odd that with all the worlds problems and those in need that Obama spent $160 million on the innaguration. Bush spent $47 million. The next highest was Regan when he spent $52 million in 1980 and the democrats were critical saying it was set up like royalty. Gee Obamanation spends 3 times as much and not a word is said in the press. But that is because it is so historic ...

Had to stimulate the economy somehow and do not forget about the inflation factor from 2000 till 2008 - LOL

SOS in Washington as usual.

Do not get me wrong now that Obama is President I wish him the best of luck in stimulating the economy and turning the stock market and house market around. I am a betting man, but would not wager one penny until there are MAJOR changes in Congress !!!!

And what did we get with all his government programs and spending? SEVEN YEARS OF ECONOMIC MALAISE! Only way out was WWII. Those that don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it and we are seeing the results of the decimation of our education system by liberals such that Americans are so economically and historically illiterate that they actually believe government is the solution to anything.
