How freqently the media is publishing articles that talk about the demise of democracy?  It's like the media is pushing that narrative.  There was one yesterday saying that Canadians are worried that our republic is failing.  I think back to the media days from the first day that Trump took office and they started ragging on him from the first day.

So now they are pushing the idea that the end of our country, as we know it, is coming soon.  I wonder how many of the left idealouges and socialsts are giddy over that thought.

In other words the leftists and MSM decry the loss of democracy as a means to ensure the loss of democracy.

Unfortunately, Democrats assume they can define what their Democracy looks like and everyone else's definition can GTH.   And judging by Biden/Harris poll numbers, their definition is not being accepted by the vast core of American voters.

It's like there is a set narrative and a lot of people fall into it.  Even the Generals are saying things like that if there were election violence again, that they might not be able to keep the troops from acting on it, meaning showing loyalty to one leader over another.  Instead of spending so much time on CRT and being woke, it seems to me they should be training troops on the Constitution.  

But I started noticing all these articles - that the US might not be intace for it's 300th birthday; that election fraud will bring down the republic.  There are a lot more.  

I'd like to know what they think it will be replaced with if they are pushing this narrative.  Some articles suggest an authontarian government.  I know they are afraid of Trump, but I am far more worrked about the Left than I am about Trump.  

But when they start pushing a narrative, and the masses start thinking that it's true, does it become a self-fulfilling prophesy?

I think you have to use the Democrat code book to understand this fixation.  You see for them when they lose elections because of their awful ideas they call it a threat to democracy.  And they expect to lose bigly in the November mid-terms because basically all they have to run on is the Jan 6 so-called insurrection.  Something only about 15% of Americans (i.e., liberal elitist left wing nuts) care about or think it was anything more than what it was......a bunch of stupid people getting carried away and doing stupid, destructive things.  So when they lose they will blame it on the elections not being free or fair....which is code for they weren't allowed to cheat like they did in 2020.....which is for them a threat to our democracy.

Which is kind of ironic given the most prominent Democrats are socialists.
