While Crazy Uncle Joe and Fauxahontas are tanking and the Democrats move toward nominating a socialist for President there is more good news. The new numbers are out and they are pretty amazing. Illegal crossings are down for eight months in a row. In May 2019 illegal crossings were around 144,000 and in January 2020 they were down to around 37,000. The pressure by the Trump administration on Mexico is working, the wall is working, the enforcement against businesses hiring illegals is working. And speaking of the wall, the latest update is that 119 miles have been completed, 220 miles are under construction and 237 miles are in pre-construction.
Even more ironic is that in a round about way Mexico is indeed paying for the wall. You see, every illegal costs American taxpayers around $8,000 per year. Just since May 2019 they have stopped almost 700,000 illegals from entering the U.S. which saves us $5.6B each year!! Over ten years that's $56B in savings which more than pays for the wall, CBP and ICE.
So thank you Mexico and thank you President Trump for your steely resolve in reducing illegal immigration! And imagine how many lives were saved by the criminal illegals and drunk drivers that didn't make it into the country.

I predict that after the next election we are not going to hear a lot about NPV. Virginia is sending through legislation that would send all their deligates to the winner of NPV. If it passes and is not shot down due to lawsuits, I can only imagine the push to remove it once Trump wins his second term.

I did mention NH primaries. Stunning numbers for Trump although they still pale in comparison to the numbers of Dems voting in the primary. Interestingly in NH there are about equal numbers of registered Republicans and Democrats but close to 500,000 Independents. Given their Governor is a Republican but the state House and Senate are controlled by Democrats it seems like the Independents lean more toward the left as is usually the case. So for Trump to win NH he will need to get strong GOP turnout and attract more than half of Independents.

Considering that over 2x the people voted in the NH primary for Trump then what Obama got - I would say that is some high turnout considering lefty state, primary and not the election itself where #s are always lower.
I am hoping for 5 years of complaints about Trump from Antifatech and GF, and countless more after that about any number of republicans. While it has been some time since I voted for a demonrat on a ballot - I just feel that I can no longer support anyone who is part of the party that has moved so far to the left that the "middle of the road" is now infanticide, open borders, open bathrooms, 500+ genders and economic terrorism based on climate. If that is now the "middle of the road" I hate to think what they actually stand for and believe.

It's going to be interesting to see how far left the Democrats have moved as we go through the primaries. I find it so hard to believe that people on the left want to vote for Bernie Sanders. I wonder if when he talks about taking from the rich and giving to the poor, they realize that he doesn't just mean rich Republicans, but rich Democrats too. The left has lost its mind.
