Watching the debate and not missing Trump at all.  Much more substantive since he is not the focus. They are actually debating policy and their differences versus the inane "Mr. Trump called you this name in a tweet, how do you respond" questions of the other debates. Cruz and Rubio are doing well. Christie less so and the others are irrelevant.

I only watched a bit of it - but I noticed that Cruz and Jeb could not help but make derogatory remarks about Trump in their opening statements.  I guess they didn't have to fear that he would retaliate, and cut them to ribbons in front of the voters. 

I watched a bit of Trump's program.  Nothing spectacular, but he did get some of his rich friends to pony up money for veterans and in my mind, was a lot better cause then listening to the other candidates yammering on. 

I do have a question.  Can someone tell me why Rand Paul is always on the main event, while Carly Fiorina was shuffled off to the JV?  I never seen Rand Paul even reflected in the polls. 

One thing I like about Chris Christie - he always stays with the issues that people want to hear about, and he doesn't bad mouth the other candidates, except Hilary, of course. And I always think that Rubio does very well in the debates, even though his personal life seems a bit messy.  I wonder if he was on a debate team somewhere along the line.
