Subject:	Boat trailer wheels lockup

My boat trailer wheels lock up while sitting for a long time. Have to drag trailer back and forth to finally break free.  It's a four-wheel trailer. (Don't suspect it has to do with hydraulics.)

Any trailer repair shops in Dadeville/Alex City area that could attend to this?

If you have disc brakes, the solution might be quite simple. When you park the trailer you typically back it up and disconnect it from the car.  Make sure that the last motion you make when storing is forward so that the actuator isn't compressed.(for surge brakes)

Good suggestion.  I'll try that next time I park the trailer.
