Does anyone have or know-of someone who rents cruisers on the lake? My family & I have recently moved (back) and wanted to spend a weekend on the lake. We use to have a cruiser over at StillWater (now, Harbor Pointe?) and had to sell when we moved. Instead of getting a condo, cabin, etc., I would like to see about getting-out on a boat first.

Otherwise, I'll be doing the usual, i.e., trolling through the rentals for someplace. Hoping for Fathers Day but TBD.

I don't know of any of the watercraft rental places that has a cruiser for rent.

I stopped into the Marina at Kowaliga and noticed that they were renting boats. The lady at the counter said they had a number of boats. Not Cheap though!!!

There are a number of places that rent watercraft. Mostly pontoon and jet skis. I do not know of any that rent a cruiser or a true fishing boat (ie, bass boat) for that matter.

In the Dadeville area:
Fomby and Sons
Harbor Point Marina
Lakeside Marina
Chucks Marina? not sure if they still do or not.
You already mentioned Kowligia.

Perhaps others will add to this list of known rental places.

And not cheap is correct. I suspect that has a lot to do with our short season and insurance payments.
