I just KNOW that some of you bought a new grill (Jim Dandy's BGE?) or found a new recipe for a likely LakeFood delight over the Winter.
Give it up!! Now is the time to add some good meals to the list for the rest of the year.
Beef Roast Marsala. Just heard a good review on it, but no recipe. Anybody got one???

Mack, no new grill and no new recipes, but there are two butts on the smoker for this weekend at the lake. The menu will be pulled pork sandwiches, pickled cole slaw, and baked beans. Nothing new, but it's been a while since these were on the menu. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

I'm with TC - no new grill (although I would like one).... The shrimp is in olive oil and Old Bay with a touch of lemon juice, and will go on the skewers tomorrow morning. Will probably put together veggie skewers to join the shrimp on the grill, and throw some rice and a salad into the mix.

Ya'll are out there grillin' but not talkin'.
The butts and the shrimp sound good!  I forget about grilled shrimp. We love it and always usually keep some 20-25 on hand, but it is tucked back under something in the freezer hidden and out of mind. Maybe tomorrow night??

Ahhhhhh, the nectar of Lake Living. Love the new blue can, too.
Have you tried the new 16 oz. aluminum bottle/can??. I had it first at a bar (O'Grady's?) in Lakeland, Fl. last year. They kept it in a special cooler at about 28*F and it did not ice up. Man oh man, on a hot day, that was a special beer. Hard to find around here though.

No grillin here....ended up in Chicago tonight (instead of Nashville) and had a Santa Fe chicken wrap in the Atlanta airport. Good news is I'll be home on Monday for 6 days straight on the Lake, so I'll make up for it.

Have not tried the AL bottle, I shoot for "value". :-) Have a refridgerator at the cabin that is converted to a keg cooler - I turn it down until I ice the line, then turn it back up a couple of degrees - that is right at 28 F. Works great for beer and champagne (for the mimosas), but will brick colas....
