. . . sold for on Lake Martin? 

As I understand it, the Jeffrey Dungan designed home at 240 & 260 Whispering Ridge sold for $7.1 million. It was actually sold with furnishings for $8.1 million. 

It appears the old Schrushy monstrosity -- five lots (?) -- sold for $7.4 million back in '09.

1147 Willow Way North -- three lots (?) -- is currently listed for $8,995,000! 

I'm sure there are plenty of other eye-popping examples.

Oh, and there's a 0.88 acre island for sale for $1.8 million. Crazy!

39KC-Mccain is off hwy 229--my house faces west looking across waterat back of amplitheatre--dont know Rushings though; I was told that McCain was the first paved road at lake--cause Gov Folsom had a house here & im looking, as we speak,  out my office window  at the house Gov Fob James owned

According to what you said you look at then you are on Tuckers Point, Where Mccains hardware was the road splits and Mccain goes to right. The Rushings place is the last on that point. Where is the lot that sold on Mccain?

The lot that sold is directly across from McCain Hardware-(righty before the split-) hardware store & cabin have also been sold-if Rushing's are at end of McCain-that  was my old golf buddy Tom Cruze house from Montgomery-sold because wife wanted penthouse in destin-your friend bought at at insanely low price !!!

That's it - if you sell, where do you go?   And does anyone really want to go through the hassle of moving?  I've got 3 dogs and the last thing I need is to move into a neighborhood where people are constantly calling the police because my dogs bark.

I have an electronic fence, so no, they don't run loose.  We have woods behind us, owned by AP, and on the side of our house.  We don't have many full timers around us, but I am not someone that lets their dogs bark to annoy me and the neighbors.  My biggest problem right now is that I have a hound puppy and he loves to hear himself bark.  I try to be reasonable with my neighbors and not disturb them. Sometimes I wish they were more concerned about annoying us.  My next door neighbor's guy mows their lawn at night and the Saturday mornings seem to be made for leaf blowing.
