we have comlink--the nbc affiate station , wsfa [channel 12 ] out of montgomery which now also owns fox [channel 11], --the sound stutters about 90% of the time--comlink blames it on wsfa's engineering--wsfa says they have no problems; we do notexperience this stuttering on any other stations; anyone else have this problem ??

I too have noticed the same problem with ComLink's NBC station for the past couple of weeks. Have not called them yet, but I will. Looks like they finally get channel 8 working and something happens to another channel.

I have had trouble with sound on Fox, and some trouble with NBC. But, when I changed to the Fox digital channel (cannot remember what number it was xx.something) the sound was great. So I figured the problem had to do with the switch issue. BUT, I only had one TV that picked up the digital signal and lost it to lightening.

Not sure of the reason, but WSFA is stuttering this AM on Charter. Seems to sound break on the network broadcast.

We've had the stuttering problem too. And sometimes we lose the signal entirely.

Not too sure about the stuttering up there but I recently bought a new flat panel HDMI. I noticed some channel has a lip sync problem. (Actual sound occurs about a half second after the picture shows the lips making the sound.

Assuming you are going HDMI to a HomeTheater System?? Some, but not all channels have the lip synch problem? I have similar problem, that goes away with TV Only Audio, which means it is a setting on either the TV or the audio amplifier. Still reading the manuals, still.

Basically, what it all boils down to is that the broadcasters and cable providers are having a great deal more trouble with the BIG SWITCH than the typical consumer!!

is limited to 3 stations, depending on the antenna and the weather.
We judge it by whether or not we can see the ball during Wimbledon tennis matches. When it's really bad you can barely tell who is who. Average is you can see the players but not the ball. Good is when it's clear enough to see the ball.

Interesting. Thought it was just me. We have Charter in Auburn and I occasionally get the same problem on WSFA. Have Dish Network at lake, no problem.
