Apparently Clinesmith, who illegally altered documents for the FISA application, is expected to plead guilty.  Interesting tidbit from the evidence is this exchange with another DOJ attorney.  

“I’m just devastated,” Clinesmith texted to Moyer shortly after Trump won the presidential election in November of 2016. “Plus, my god damned name is all over the legal documents investigating his staff,” Clinesmith wrote.

“Is it making you rethink your commitment to the Trump administration?” Moyer later asked Clinesmith, ostensibly referring to Clinesmith’s plan to remain at the FBI after Trump’s inauguration.

“Hell no,” Clinesmith responded. “Viva le resistance.”

The question is whether Durham got him to sing for a lesser sentence.  There's a reason we see very little of Clapper, Comey or Brennan these days.  Typical strategy is to get the low level folks on their crimes and then move up the food chain in exchange for evidence agaist the higher ups.....ya know, what Mueller and his merry band of Democrat lawyers tried but failed to do with Trump due to a lack if said evidence.  We shall see how this works out.

No President should be allowed to do what Obama did, no agency should have people doing what the FBI, DOJ and the intelligence agencies did.  It should have never happened and people need to go to prison.  This isn't about Trump, its about the peaceful transition of power.

Just trying to educate you about how worthless the mask is with aerosols and makes my frequent point that the masks are no different in either direction, breathing in or out.  And lest you give me the droplet thing, covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze is just as effective.  And besides, droplets do not travel very far, unlike the aerosols.  So unless you're standing next to someone droplets are not going to be an issue. 

So stop being a Karen about masks and practice the other measures that actually work, social distance, wash your hands frequently and stay home if you aren't feeling well.  You might also want to do one other thing that I do every day which is take my temperature before I go out.

I've shown you peer reviewed studies that demonstrate the opposite.  Show me a peer reviewed scientific study that demonstrates with data (not lab experiments) that masks prevent the transmission of aerosols.  You call me ignorant, which means I just don't know something.  So educate me.  But make sure it is a peer reviewed study that focuses on whether masks, even N95, but especially cloth masks were determined to reduce the transmission of a virus.  I've looked and can't find any.  Lots of papers where they did all these lab studies that showed masks prevent droplets which I have stipulated.  But you can be sure if you happen to find one I am actually going to read it.  I am a scientist.  I follow the data and the science.  I am not opposed to masks out of some blind ideology.  I accept the other measures that they have recommended because they are based on sound science.  Masks, not so much....... Just ask Californians how well they work.

So reduce my ignorance by finding me an actual study.  Peer reviewed.  Real data.  Accurate statistical methodology (if used).  Prove it.  Because for every one you find I'll trot out ones that show the opposite.

He really is a leftist despite his protests to the contrary.  If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like one......  Here's the thing with the left.  They see everything from the perspective of politics and ideology.  It is all that matters to them.  So if I oppose masks it is because I am a conservative, not because I understand the science.  And they think this despite the fact that I embrace and religiously practice all the other measures they recommend, again because I understand the science. When you look at every aspect of a person from the perspective of political ideology then you become anti-science, fascist, totalitarian, etc.  That is the left today.

The sad part is that I am completely open to actual evidence that masks work and I have looked.  Every single study I've reviewed that looked at masks and their effectiveness in reducing the spread of influenza could not come up with any statistically significant proof that they work.  And the ones that recommended masks all did so because of their ability to reduce droplets.  I can accomplish that by covering my mouth as can others and staying away from people coughing and sneezing.  But I simply could not find a peer reviewed study that demonstrated that masks are effective in reducing aerosols and the transmission of the virus.  Maybe that's because they don't work.

Meanwhile people wearing them believe they are immune and do not practice the other measures that work.  I see it all the time.  One of the reasons I don't wear one unless I am required to do so is because I have found that the mask wearers give me a wide berth, much wider than they do with others wearing masks.  That is fine with me and my goal anyway.  So wear your mask but please stay the heck away from me.  This seems like a very logical, reasonable and scientifically sound strategy.  But for some reason the left wing nuts foam at the mouth about this, I think mostly because of what I described above.
