being new to the lake and this our first season, do gas prices vary much between marinas?  Was just curious as I had no idea.

I mostly buy gas at Anchor Bay. Occassionally I will sprinkle in Kowaliga or the Ridge. They all seem to be pretty much the same to me. FYI there are a lot of well priced C stores around the lake that sell non ethanol gas at great prices. Nail's price the other day was $2.44 - compared to $3 or $3.30 I saw in Montgomery.

It just depends on what options you have. If you pull your boat in and out of the water the stations around the lake have a  better price. I personally use Nails. However if your boat never leaves the water then pick your marina. I go to Anchor Bay. Not sure what their price is right now but they only have the boating season to make their profit for the year. Buy local either way and support the local business people.

I was shocked at $2.45 for non eth but that was at the Red Hill Eagle station on 229 near Anchor Bay.  If you are talking pull up gas stations on water most are within a few cents of each other.  Usually about $1 more than off water stations.  I would guess somewhere around $3.50 - $4 a gallon.

Use gas cans and save a small fortune.  A bit more work but worth it!
