All fun aside.........I've been asked to prepare a short report card on Pres BHOs first year in office and I need as large a cross section from here as possible to give a balanced view.......so please offer up your thoughts or sites that would be helpful. In addition is there a web site where the jobs saved and created can be accessed? Any thoughts?

The website where they used to talk about jobs saved or created is called www.recovery.gov. What has gotten zero press coverage by the government media is that administration is no longer talking about jobs created or saved because it was exposed for the lie that it was.
As for a report card on Obama, do you have specific categories of interest (i.e., economy, taxes, war on Islamofascism, foreign affairs, etc.)? If you make that list it is easier to provide my totally biased grades that I can assure you will be low.

Thanks, I was going the route of domestic and foreign affairs.........so any entries in either would be great. This is not up for a grade........just an informal thing.

"Jobs saved or created" has been thrown under the bus...it's now "jobs funded."

I would give him a C- on domestic. I'm not at all happy with the way the health care reform is turning out and I don't think it needed to be the 1st year issue. I don't think the Administration has paid enough attention to the Economy and loss of jobs. It should be top priority. I don't think he has tried hard enough to keep Pelosi and Reid in line. I didn't expect miracles, but I think the optics, as well as the results have been bad.
I'm a bit more encouraged on the foreign side. I think he has mended some bridges that needed to be mended. Sometimes I think he has made some faux pas, but overall, I think he has been positive. I support the withdrawl of the troops from Iraq, and I agree with the plus-up in Afghanistan. I think he is trying to hold Pakistan accountable. I'm not pleased about the money he left on the table at the Climate Summit. I hope he is paying attention to Russia. On foreign policy, I'm giving him a B-

On the domestic side I do not see anything positive except the rate of escalation of spending money we don't have.
On the foreign side his groveling to counter Bush's chest beating, while giving some comfort, puts us on a par with the rest of the world. We are and can be better than the rest of the world, which brings me back to the domestic side. If we don't fish or cut bait individually ins tead of sucking at the public t*at, we are likely doomed to be as commonly miserable as our European allies, and indeed will no longer be the best of the best.

help and replies........shoulda just waited another day and could have used the report card as given by Peter Brown in his piece in the WSJ. I've written down a few items in the domestic/ foreign catagories for discussion purposes, but for the bottom line I will use P. Browns results............the Americans have given their grades as such:(poll taken by Quinnipiac polling Inst.)
Job performance...45% positive/45% negative Like/admire (Deportment)...56%
On a straight line grade that would be an F for both areas......if this was graded on a curve he would have a 'C' on performance and a 'B' on deportment. Not looking good from his bosses.......
