With Thanksgiving coming up before you know it, what are your food plans? We abandoned the traditional turkey dinner several years ago. We now have shrimp and grits, Mac and cheese, and green bean casserole. My wife feels compelled to put out fresh veggies that normally never get eaten. This year we have been invited to meet at my son and daughter-n-law's new home. She won't cook, but will host us all there. Do you do traditional or march to the beat of your own drummer?

Well, I was just informed that the fare for the day will be smoked Prime Rib. So much for my famous, and favorite, shrimp and grits. Oh well. It should all be about family anyway.
