Sorry! Ate there Friday night - Scale of 1-10 8 1/2. Wife and I had the steaks. Cooked just right for us. Hint - if you don't like Dale's steak sauce, order something else. Owner stopped by 3 times to check on us. service people were extremely nice. Atmosphere is conducive to meeting friends ( old and new). Baked potatoes are the best you will find in a restaurant.

The Boss, a friend of ours and I ate there Saturday night - same experience - great food, and John was by twice to check on us. Judy had BarBQ plate, Jim and I had pork ribs that were not on the menu, all was great. Only downside - Jim wanted to get another order of ribs to go, but they were out by that time.

I am glad to hear that the ribs were good. If in stock next week, planning on ordering them. I love ribs.

I had dinner there a couple of weeks ago. As noted, good food and service, complete with owner participation. Had the pulled pork BBQ plate. Only disappointment was canned pork & beans for the side. I'll go back (just not for the beans).

Location? I keep hoping there will be something within decent driving distance of the intersection of Coosa 20 and AL 259, but so far Alex City is about our only reasonable choice. Would like to support some of the local establishments if we could.

By the way, Big B BBQ has done a nice job fixing up the old Western Sizzlin place in AC.

don't know the road #'s or names. Next to Sigger's store on way to Dare Park. 5 minutes from Dadeville. Head out of Dadeville on Lafeyett Street, turn left at body shop and you can't miss Sigger's.

At the intersection of Youngs Ferry Road and Gibson Road/Mullican Loop. As noted, next to Siggers.

I think its hunting lodge decor gone wild. I was seated at a lacquered "table' that was a log cut slice with 2 chairs that couldn't be moved with a crane. It might make nice hunting lodge weekend stuff if it were moved to Alaska.

I pity the poor staff that has to move that lumber around to clean up every night. Gawd!

What were they thinking about?
