I would like to bring my scout troop for a weekend of camping on the lake. We have used the facilities offered by Maxwell AFB in the past, but I'd like to find something on the southwest side between Eclectic and the bridge. Does anyone know of a place? Thanks.

Check with APC. If I'm not mistaken, I heard of a camping area for the Scouts just below Goat Island, near the dam. I've seen facilities there for camping, just never checked it out. But it "appears" to be on APC land.
