I fish for Bass (waiting for trolling motor steering cables right now) and have caught my largest largemouths when the water was high. The baitfish seem to love the flooded brush and the bass follow them in. It is vey easy to get hung up in that situation which is why I T-rig a worm weightless. You can work in flooded brush but you have to do so slowly and gently. I use 65 lb braid and can usually get the fish out before they wrap up.
