Enough of her legal troubles let's talk politics. How is that every republican isn't running ads featuring that email chain. Huma sending some other top aide to make sure Hillary was ready for her conference call and the responce that she was napping and huma tells them to make she is awake because "she is often confused". Realm presidential material there.

It looks like her lead over Bernie is likewise evaporating. Latest poll shows him leading her in the west and northeast as well as other places. It looks like she may lose Iowa and NH and is probably counting on SC and Nevada to keep her int he game. Her minished mental capacity ought to be concerning to Democrats but that leaves them with the geriatric socialist and some guitar playing leftist from Maryland. Biden and Warren have both praised Bernie and dismissed Hillary so the long knoves may be coming out. The sad reality is that even if her quest to become the first woman POTUS is once again thwarted she will still walk away with hundreds of millions of dollars collected by the crime family foundation in exchange for favors.
If you add it all up it is not a pretty picture. Terrible political skills. Unlikable and nasty, even to her supporters. Emails and server scandal. Foreign donations to the foundation. Sid Blumenthal with access to secret information. Benghazi. Bill's affairs, groping and rapes all handled by Hillary and her bimbo eruption team. Abject foreign policy failiure after failure under her watch. The infamous misspelled reset button. Name after Sir Edimund Hillary. Landed under fire. Lies, lies and more lies and all easily proven combined with total incompetence and corruption.
Bernie better get some protection lest he too end up committing suciide by shooting himself in the back of the head and somehow magically moving his body into a park like Vince Foster or having his plane go down while visiting some foreign country.

Even when you don't work for the government, you can still have a security clearance. All you need is a governmental sponsor. And I imagine that would have been Hilary. So that Sid Blumentahl could have a legitimate access to classified, particularly if he was acting in an "advisory" capacilty. Now, do I think he is a weasel? Yes, I do.
Once we get into the main campaign, a lot of the dirt will be made public. I keep telling y'all she isn't going to be elected.

Once again if that were true why has no one, not Sid, not Hillary, not one Democrat has raised this defense. So while this may be a possibility it doesn't seem like it in this case. Honestly, I don't know why they don't ask you as you have the silver bullet for every allegation. They are really missing the boat.

Why are you getting snotty about this with me? He can have a security clearance. I suspect Hodja, while he was a government contractor had a security clearance. He had a govenrment sponsor. I know lots of people that do not work for the govenrment and still have a security clearance. They also have things called "CAC" cards that allow them access to government buildings and computers.
Does it bother you so much that you don't have mastery in this one area?? As Hodja has proved, I do not have the corner of the market on this information. So your remark is totally out of line.
I'm sorry the facts don't fit your thoughts on reality. It's not my fault. I did not write these rules, but I sure as heck had to live within them, and I made sure I understood them so I didn't run afoul of them. And I am very sorry you do not like the rules, so maybe you should take it up with your elected officials to get it changed. It is not rocket science.
And we don't yet know what defense Hilary will mount, becasue she has yet to be charged with anything. As far as I know, State Department are reviewing the thousands of emails for potential classified information. I'm sure there will be a final report.

Today, some 48 years after getting a security clearance as a fresh-faced Air Force butter bar and almost eight months into my third career I STILL have a security clearance and if the contract calls for it am eligible to have access to information well above Top Secret. And yes, I use my CAC every time I turn on my government owned computer and also use it to log on to protected web sites I need to access. MM, Hound and I (separately) spent careers working in this area much as you have spent a career in your area of pollution control, geology, or whatever it is.
i know at you and Hound have had your differences, but at least accept that you are treading in waters where her knowledge exceeds yours. I have no dog in the hunt, other than I have been there, done that, and after almost a half century am STILL doing it. With regard to security clearances, even clearances for civilians, she has spoken correctly.

First of all I'm not challenging the accuracy of your comments. I am only pointing out that for some reason you are quick to come up with some reason why nothing was amiss with what is an obvious and reasonable explanation that never seems to be made by those that are being accused of wrongdoing. If I were Sid and something like this hit the fan I would simply call a press conference and remind everyone that I have top secret clearance or whatever it is and this is much ado about nothing. Case closed. Why doesn't he do that?!?!?!?
If this is so obvious as it is to you govt people it must surely be obvious to the thousands of other govt people that would love to help Hillary. So don't get snotty with me when I point out your excuses for their behavior seems only to be known to you and Hodja or maybe, just maybe, they don't apply to either Hillary in being able to declassify classified emails and Sid having super top secret clearance that allows him to send classified material over unsecured email systems. More likely they aren't talking because they don't want to have to remember their lies or prove they perjured themselves because they know they committed crimes.
But as you said, maybe we will hear Hillary's defense if she is ever indicted, which I still seriously doubt. I am sure she will mount all the defenses you have pointed out but dang, it sure seems to me she could avoid all this altogether by using them to avoid being indicted in the first place. I wonder why she doesn't do that? Maybe given your insight you have an explanation but I sure don't.

I know neither Hilary or Sid, so cannot explain their behavior. Perhaps they believe they haven't done anything wrong and therefore, don't have to defend themselves. I'm sure they have highly paid lawyers advising them. Without knowning what classified infomration was transmitted via unclassified means, it is hard to say definitively whether there was harm to national security.
But I will appreciate it if you would stop accusing me of defending them. I am merely trying to give insight as to why, possibly, they will not be indicted on any charges relating to the emails, based on what I know about security classifications.
I think more fertile ground is picking apart her policies. I personally doubt whether Ted Cruz should be permittd to run for President given the questions surrounding his citizenship, but I'm not going off on a tagent about it.

I just call them the way I see them. When they are accused of something and you provide an explanation that exonerates them how can that not reasonably be interpreted as a defense? If it isn't then what exactly is the point? And you have done so on more than one occasion. Go and re-read what you typed and tell me if it was just a simple sharing of some piece of inside information or would any reasonable person see that and assume it was a possible defense. Considering the juxtaposition of the comments it is quite reasonable to come to the conclusion I came to.
Frankly, I just dont get why you are so defensive about this. And I will restate my opinion, if these facts are applicable to Hillary she would have certainly used them instead of the lame excuses she and her minions have espoused. As you said, she has all sorts of very smart advisors. Were these facts applicable to her situation I am hard pressed to understand why they would give lame excuses when these put the entire matter to rest. Considering they do not, I am of the opinion that they likely are not applicable and represent meaningless information.

No defense, just an explanation. You always say you call it as you see it, but sometimes I think you must be wearing magnifying glasses.
I can't say I have heard any lame excuses, she just says what she says. In my view, it sounds to me like she didn't think she did anything wrong. Of all the people who hate Hilary, I have to say you are the only one I can think of that has been dwelling on this issue, and I don't think it is going to stick. I think you are going to have find another issue.

But you are probably right, she will get away with everything which is more the pity. Hard to believe our justice system only applies to us mere peons. Apparently she is claiming that her minion never sent the email in question, the one she instructed him to remove the classified mark. Of course we will never know for sure because she wiped her server after deleting tens of thousands of emails.

Of this election. Now Ted Cruz failed to disclose a loan. It saddens me to think that the current crop of candidates on both sides is the best we can come up with for one of the most important jobs in the world. The job used to attract high minded people - not flawless and not necessarily people that you agreed with, but people who seemed to truly stand for something. Now it seems that only liars and cheats and high gloss criminals are the candidates. And worse, most of the populace doesn't seem to care. It makes me sad.
