Just wondered if anybody at the Lake has seen a coyote recently. They have become a real threat in North Shelby County. To the extent that traps are being placed in certain areas and warnings are posted to take care walking alone, especially with small dogs. One neighborhood gardener was recently attacked in his back yard.
I did a little research and these devils get aggressive to find food and small dogs and cats are in play.

Yes, we have seen several on Highway 63 and we can hear them at night from the woods.

Saw one about 2 months ago on Madwind Creek Road, near the Tilapia farm, walking along the side of the road.

Mack, they are plentiful over here in the Russell 1600 acres next door.  I have not heard them this year yet, but can hear them HOWL at times.

Well, they are getting aggressive here. They are coming up into back yards and on to decks to snatch pets. And they are not backing down when they encounter people. That bugs me.

That's a real problem. (unafraid). They are everywhere. Some even showed up in Central Park in NY.

Had a red fox in our yard chasing our cat in May-June. We live east side of Hwy 49 bridge. Truly hope no coyotes come around.

Saw one yesterday on Hwy 22 just east of New Site.  It was 10:00 in the AM.  Just came across the road in front of me and watched me drive by.
