Guys- this is a serious situation and one that needs immediate attention but I am not sure how to go about it. I need your opinion.
Last Saturday evening, while enjoying the last turkey leg on my dock, I noticed my neighbor walking out of his house with his beautiful lab named Dixie. I said hello and everything seemed normal. He then proceeded down to the water and took off his clothes for a swim. I mean he was naked. Naked as the day is long. I was appalled.
He swam around for a bit and started to complain that the water was too cold. He then stood up in the knee deep water and did something that I have never seen before. He started playing with himself so, "my bidness will perk up and you won't make no fun of me." The guy is obviously a redneck and has only lived next door for two months. I am concerned that this behavior will continue!
Should I call the homeowners association? Do you think something is in the bylaws about swimming naked? Should I call the Sheriff? I don't want to get him thrown in jail. Should I call Mr. Russell and report the disturbing behavior?
This is serious as I often have older lady friends come over to visit.
Any assistance will be appreciated.

I just can resists this one, take a picture of the little fellers little feller and show it to the police they will put a stop to it.

Have you approached him directly (when he is clothed) and explain to him that while you can certainly appreciate the pleasures of a nude swim in ice cold water, that you have always thought it was more appropriate to do it in a more secluded spot and that you would consider it neighborly for him to find a less populated spot.
When I first read your post, I was sure it was just a joke, given that someone else had posted about taking their December swim. I hope this is just a joke, and you are not really living next door to this.

This person has a serious problem and should be reported to the authorities. Being a "redneck" has nothing to do with this. Homeowner's associations are not equipped to deal with things of this nature, the law is.
