where have they gone?  had great colonies from 2000 until 3 years ago..  see occasional birds stopping by the houses, by but zero interest in nesting?  Anybody have a clue??

Ours having been showing up for years now and they came back this year.  We have gourds.  One of my neighbors put up one of those fancy commercial Martin houses, but I haven't noticed any takers yet.  They are such fun birds.  We go onto the dock and they fly all around us.

Have you changed anything about your Martin houses?

keep the houses very clean..  several local folks have had good colonies..  just not here now..
