In Friday's Birmingham Business Journal, front page story was the $750 Million development of Lincoln Harbor, a "lifestyle community" of 80 condos and 32 townhomes to be finished sometime this Spring. Yours for just mid $400,000's for the condos and higher $500's for the townhomes. This on 2 miles of shoreline, with a full-service concierge and marina services. One third have been sold through word of mouth and "to followers of a smaller project the company recently developed on ... Lake Martin." Developer is Compass Communities out of Atlanta.

An eBay Auction closed yesterday for a house and lake property on Logan Martin. The reserve price was not met. I do not know the reserve, but I know $251,100.00 was not enough. The eBay Auction # was 320072936898. Maybe, the link below will pull it up.

Looks like a beautiful site. Just over 1 1/4 acres on a point. I know bupkes about Logan Martin (which is only slightly less than I know about my own lake!)...

Pretty soon, we'll be seeing fertile eggs for sale on e-bay!

Not sure if it is one in the same, but Compass Real Estate Investors, LLC out of Alpharetta, GA developed/built 3 Condominium Buildings in Stillwaters called Sunset Cove. Buildings 600, 700, 800. Did a decent enough job - have seen much worse. They owned all or part of the property next to it but sold to the outfit that is now building the large project called Stoneview Summit.

Looks like another reason to expect lower condo prices on Lake Martin this year.
