Y'all are not going to believe this. Supposed to have Direct TV installed today between 12:00 and 5:00. They assured me I would be the 1st in that time slot and would call me the day before installation, yesterday. Well, you guessed it, no call. I called them this morning and I wasn't even on the schedule. So, I took Dirt Diva's recommendation and called Cable Busters. Got voicemail and will await their call. Also, a personal request for Gone Fishin..... I know we don't get along much on a political basis but, if I send you a list of my favorite TV shows, could you record them off your Charter Cable and send them to me? I would be most appreciative. Kinda would be my way of gettin back at "The Man." After 2 weeks TV- less, my reading skills have improved dramatically and I'm gettin a lot more sleep!

I know you don't want to hear this, but I added Charter phone service this past Monday. Got three phone calls from Charter ahead of visit, guy showed up at 8:30 AM, was done and gone by 9:30 without any grief. Suggestion: schedule for first call of the day, maybe the guy will show up on time and not get bogged down in other calls.
