Are there actually any Trump worshipers on this forum willing to defend the man's comments today regarding injections of disinfectants and exposure to ultra-violet light as possible treatments that should be investigated as a COVID-19 cure?  Maybe some of you should give it a try...WIX, Phil, Lifer, how about you MM and ''Dr'' CRD?  This idiot is going to get somebody killed!  BTW Carlson, when are we going to get that GOOD news about Hyroxychloroquine that you predicted would hit the headlines about 5 or 6 weeks ago? Apparently not so go back and ask somebody who does read English to please read my March 28 post to you.  Perhaps they can also explain any big words you don't understand as well as correct your grammar. After that is done answer my question but DO NOT inject Lysol even if Dear Leader says it might be OK.  We don't want anybody to get hurt because of Trump's stupidity, not even folks like most on this forum who kiss his fat fanny at every possible opportunity.

Maryland emergency officials are warning state residents not to inject or ingest disinfectant after more than 100 people called the state’s emergency hotline regarding questions about disinfectant use and COVID-19.

"Then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning,” Trump continued. “Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that.”

Trump came under scrutiny from medical experts, elected officials and private companies who quickly warned Americans not to ingest chemicals. 

Trump responded to the criticism Friday, saying he was being sarcastic.  “I was asking a question sarcastically to reporters like you just to see what would happen,” Trump told reporters at an Oval Office bill signing. 

“I was asking a sarcastic — and a very sarcastic –– question to the reporters in the room about disinfectant on the inside," the president continued. "But it does kill it, and it would kill it on the hands and that would make things much better. That was done in the form of a sarcastic question to the reporters."

Archie Archie, you have lost your following.

It is encouraging to the process that you took so long to return. Geez so many days that things were going too right for you to respond.  Dr. Birx continues to award djt with appreciation for his consideration of their data and recommendations. 

As to the statements on UV light and disinfectants I was surprised that he went there.  I can listen to the whole thing and not get bent out of shape about it.  My headlines would be different.

I was even more surprised that what he said has some merit. So many reports of UV light injected into blood to fight infection.  And what is put in the inhaler machine that my grandson uses sometimes?  Brainstorming new ideas, some of which are already used, is a good thing.

Maybe he should have done it in meeting and he should not have said it was sarcastic.
