Once again Buzzfeed has committed journalistic malpractice.  This time by simply creating an article title that implies one thing while burying the truth deep in the article.  So the headline is some Russkie gets a $500K payment after Trump Tower meeting.  Boom!  Evidence of collusion, right?  Left wing nuts will never read anything more than this and will be crying from the rooftops that they finally have the smoking gun, right?

Except buried deep in the article and with little fanfare it turns out that the payment came from none other than Fusion GPS, the firm illegally hired by the Hillary campaign to collude with the Russians to manufacture oppo research on Trump.  So the guy was paid $500K by the Hillary campaign through their cutouts but the headline clearly implies he got paid by Trump as a result of the meeting.  You see folks, this why the term Fake News exists and why it is so accurate.

Think Gawker here......it's only a matter of time.......

You continue to defend Trump, but  your post is FAKE. There is no mention of $500,000 paid by Fusion buried in the article you posted. They simply hired Fusion to do some research.

From article: Akhmetshin said an old friend was also working on the case: Ed Lieberman, a Washington attorney with a wealth of experience on matters related to Russia and post-Soviet states. Lieberman and Akhmetshin have known each other for more than two decades, Akhmetshin said, and the duo worked on behalf of organizations connected to a former Kazakh prime minister. Fusion GPS, the Washington research firm that commissioned the famous Trump dossier, was also hired to conduct research.

Maybe I missed it. Copy and Paste what you are referring to. If you can't find it...ask Puppet Phil to help since he is the research guru.

Try harder Goofy.  Akhmetshin worked with Fusion GPS on the project for which he received all of this untraceable cash.  Fusion GPS was paid by the Clinton campaign on this project.  That they used another cutout to pay the guy is just further proof of where the real Russian collusion occurred, in the Hillary campaign.  And don't forget the part that Rinat Akhmetshin and Oleg Deripaska are the "Russian" sources in Steele’s “Russian” Dossier and that both Akhmetshin and Deripaska are deeply connected to Hillary and the DNC.

My original point stands....Buzzfeed implied in their headline that the guy was paid off by Trump after the meeting when the truth is he was paid off by the Hillary campaign through various cutouts for their fine work on the dossier.

Amazing how consistently Goofy misses the forest for the trees.  You read the headline and the first two paragraphs and you conclude that the guy was paid a half mil by Trump after this meeting.  Then you read the rest of the article and it is obvious that this payment had zero to do with Trump, that the guy was incidental to the meeting and that he had ties to Fusion GPS and the phony Steele dossier.  What is even more ironic is that he was involved with Maginsky Act lobbying which was the original reason for the meeting and not the dirt on Hillary.  Buzzweed is in a death spiral and is determined to go down in a ball of flames.  Such is the reality when an entire organization suffers from TDS.

So what you are saying is not that Mueller is coming up dry on Russia, that Schitt is going to start his own investigation in search of anything he can find.

Keep in mind this sets the rules for when a D gets back into the Presidency and the Rs have the House again.  I personally believe we are in the end of times for the USA as I believe it is past being put back together (And that has nothing to do with Trump / Russia / Trumps finances)
