I believe it was Einstein who defined insanity as doing something that did not work over and over again hoping it eventually would.  By Albert's definition even Trump's most ardent supporters have to be questioning their new hero's mental stability.  If you are not aware of his latest actions on the Miss Universe fiasco, which as already cause him considerable grief, especially among women, check it out and become aware.  Of course, I'm sure most Trump supporters will be unfazed demonstrating yet again their own questionable mental acumen.

Trump owns the Miss Universe brand.  The woman competed and won to represent the Miss Universe brand.  This is a beauty contest and a contract to represent the brand at a certain level.

This woman won, and then proceeded to gain 55 lbs.  Mr. Trump was no longer satisified with her representation of his brand, so he fired her.  She then went on to involve herself with additional questional activities.  But then she comes back on the picture and boo-hoos about how she was mistreated by Trump. 

1. She entered the Miss Universe contest of her own free will. 

2.  She then gained so much weight that she no longer represented the brand in the way the franchise owner expected. 

3. She got fired. 

4.  Then she proceeded to make the rounds on TV, crying about how he mistreated her. 

5.  He said disparaging things about her in response.  He was not a Presidential candidate at the time.  He was a businessman.

6.  She went and got involved in additional questionable activities. 

7. Now Trump is running for office and she comes out of the woodwork to remind everyone how "terrible" he was to her.

8.  the Liberal media, as well as the liberal voter jump on this like they have found gold in a stream.  "isn't he awful to women" they cry.

I do not give two hoots in he!l about the woman's past or present or his action for or against the woman.  I am trying to point out that his words and actions during and after the debate related to this issue illustrate his lack of judgement.  The insanity is Trump's stupidity in continuing to hammer at an issue Long after it becomes obvious that harping on it is costing him many more votes than it is gaining him. He did the same thing with the judge and the Kahns.  He just cannot stand not getting the last word on ANY subject. That is the insanity not to mention bringing his already questionable judgement into even closer scrutiny.  He!!,  why am I trying to explain something to somebody who has lost all interest in hearing anything factual that is not positive for her new hero!  I'm all in with his current crusade...keep digging Donald, keep digging.  Another couple of days at it and you may be able to count all the female votes you get on your 10 toes and 10 tiny fingers!!

If you are having a problem seeing the point I was making you are obviously so brainwashed by the Trump brigade  you may be totally beyond help. Why don't you reread it and try a little harder keeping in mind it is not about the woman and what she says or about Trump and what he says...it is about Trump's inability to realize he is shooting himself In the foot!

The issue is Trump's complete failure to show even a minuscule degree of  good judgement and wise restraint even when his own staff are telling him to show judgement and restraint by shutting his fat mouth for five minutes.

Get real. Hillary has to drag up dirt that happened twenty years ago because she has no accomplishments during her past twenty years that she can use to justify her run for the Presidency. Even we "deplorables" are smart enough to see through her game plan. How much do you think it cost Hillary to bring Machado into the political picture? Also, Hillary is a great one to talk when you consider her attacks on all the women that Bill abused. Instead of blaming her wayward husband she had to ruin their lives as a way of trying to save face. All this great information she is providing does nothing to tell the American people what we need to hear about her plans as President. Promising a "free" college education is nothing more than "lying" to our youth to gain their vote. And if it should come to past, it will not be free, we the taxpayers will pay. Furthermore, if parents are gullible enough to fall for her "lies", what happens to their incentive to work hard to insure their children are able to go to college? I have a son with a business degree who works two jobs and a daughter-in-law who works fulltime be able to provide for their children to go to college. Since we have thousands and thousands of young people who have college degrees and can't find a job, it seems to me that even Hillary could see the dire need for growing the economy and creating new jobs. But she had rather scream and holler about things that don't amount to a "hill of beans" to keep our minds off what this country really needs. One last thought about her criticism of Trump's comments about Machado. All he did was enforce the rules of the Miss Universe contest. A lot is being said by maior news organizations like ABC, NBC, CNN, etc. about some of Trump's comments about employees who are hostesses and greeters and are in positions where they come in contact with customers. When I started this post with "get real", I ask you to take a close look at "those" who bring the "news" and the "weather" and tell me they have not been "screened" in much the same way as Trump has described. It is not "fair" but that's the world we live in.

I love it that he is so insistant on continuing to say stupid things that have the effect of digging himself deeper and deeper into his hole hour by hour day by day.  It is just that I am amazed how many of his supporters are so blinded by their absolute hatred of both Clintons, not to mention Obama, that rather than recognize the reality of what he is doing to himself, they think he is a genius who has struck gold at the bottom of the hole.

First, thanks for admitting you that you hate the Clintons and Obamas!  Refreshing honesty!

Now, are you unable to read and understand English?  This whole thread started with me pointing out that Trump was being stupid in pressing the Miss Universe non-issue, not a defense of the woman.  I was surprised that Hound immediately posted with a rabid condemnation of the woman completely missing the point I was making.  Apparently the Trump supporters for some reason are completely unable to get the meaning of my words...they certainly do not seem in anyway nuanced to me.  Once AGAIN, I am not defending Miss Universe!  I am NOT saying you should nor do I expect you vote against your beliefs even though l think a Trump win will have a very negative impact on all of us!  Conversion of a Trumpista is an impossible task.  All I am hoping is for at least one or two of you to finally get the gist of the original comments.  To awake and recognize, understand and agree with the FACT that he is doing and saying stupid things that do not accrue to his benefit and bring his judgement into question!!  Do you, as a Trump supporter, personally think his actions regarding this issue over the last couple of days have been wise...have they helped his cause? 

I hope he keeps it up because, while he is probably not losing any of his current current cadre, he is certainly driving those who are undecided, especially women, into the arms of Hillary.  It really seems the Trump supporters are in a trance and unable or uninterested in halting his attempt to commit political suicide...keep it up!! Hillary is loving it and so am I and all her supporters.

For someone who hopes Trump continues to shoot himself in the foot and dig himself into a hole, why do you continue to alert his supporters that he is doing so?  Do you want us to take away his gun and shovel and change the message of his campaign?  Your logic on this thread and many of your posts just escapes me.  Yet you see us as the group that just doesn't get it, and in that regard you are right.  I don't get your logic and reasoning.  Like most Democrats and Hillary supporters, those attributes don't exist.

There is a logic in my posts...Trump is out of control and saying more and more stupid things.  I have no expectation that you or anyone will change their vote.  I am simply dismayed that not one of Trump's supporters on this site seems willing to agree that he is saying and doing stupid things that make him less and less attractive to undecided women.  I assume it has to be a concious decision on the part of his supporters to refuse to acknowledge any mistakes by The Donald regardless of how obvious they are.  Most of his supporters on this forum are not as dumb as he is so must be aware of his multplying missteps.

Why is this so difficult??? 

Secretary Clinton should be facing criminal charges for allowing hostile, foreign access to the Nation's most sensitive classified material.  Lives were likely lost..   

Benghazi -- her conduct during the crisis, cover up in the aftermath to facilitate a Presidential election should sicken anyone with a sense of right or wrong..  Lives were definately lost..     

Also, I do not want a disbarred lawyer, impeached President, sexual perdator in the "peoples house" for the next 4 years on our tab.. 

Of course, I'm a right wing nut, so hey...
