As if he is sayng anything that a reasonably intelligent, well informed person doesn't already know.......but that does leave the 20% left wing nuts behind as well as the low information voters.  Economic illiteracy is rampant.

I was getting ready to post this, but you're a step ahead (must be my age).  I've never read any of Clifton's opinion pieces before and was surprised with his comments...I've always been a little suspicious of Gallup polling.  As you point out, most of us have known this for some time.

Yeah, but for some reason those with unusally low expectations for our current POTUS seem to think this is good news.  Amazing when you are so deluded and ideological that you can't accept a simple truth.  But they gave us Obozo for two terms so anything is possible.
