I started watching but I had to stop. Can't stand what I call the 20-minute question -- to wit, a Congressman holds forth for 20 minutes about his opinions before he actually gets to his question.

What I did see, I'm not so sure I like her much. She was answering a question about a case she was involved with as a prosecuter -- I thought she was injecting too much emotion into her response. Maybe it's a cultural thing....

Agree about the watching thing, back when I was naïve and had CSPAN first available I tried watching some sort of hearing….. It is simply a way for the chosen ones to speak their minds. After I figured out that they knew no more about what they were voting for than I did – I have not returned. I had just as soon watch the home shopping network – at least you know going in that they are trying to unload a truckload of “free” manure.

The thing that shocked me when I first started watching C-span was you would watch a congressperson make this long, drawn out speech, and then the camera pans the chambers and there is nobody present to hear it. They make their speeched just to get them into the congressional record.
