Chuckie Schumer (D) says that conservative talk radio equals pornography and must be regulated with the Fairness Doctrine. Obama will go along.

Jim Moran (D) says that wealthy people have the simplistic notion that they can keep their own wealth and that redistribution of wealth is somehow wrong. Obama will go along.

I was just out and listening to some Montgomery station. They were interviewing a man that said that there was intimidation at the polls. I believe he said that it was the polling people that were intimidating others, but he was hard to understand. The man said it hadn't happened to him personally, but he had "heard". I hate when this stuff gets started. Like a game of "telephone". By the time they are done telling it, it will be completely distorted and who will know if it ever even took place.

You know - one person whispers something in someone's ear, and then that person passes it on to the next and so on and so on. When it gets to the last person, and that person has to tell what he heard, it's nothing like what the first person said.
I call it "rumit" -- intellgence based on rumor.

I think there are a lot of agitators who would like to get it out there that there is a problem with polling, so when their candidate doesn't win, there can be a huge court case. I hope it doesn't happen. I hope no one is out there trying to intimidate those who are trying to exercise their civic duty.

Unfortunately, every rumor has a seed of truth in it. Article says that the Black Panther with the nightstick was escorted away. Then, after more discussion, both the other Black Panther who said he was a poll monitor and the reporter were asked to leave.

In my opinion, the news doesn't need to be at the polls. And, they don't need to be allowed to report or project the winner before every voting site in the country is closed.

I guess the press doesn't know what to do with itself. No story until the results are tabulated. I think they like to try and interview people as they are leaving the polls, as though that gives them some insight into the results. It's whacked out, for sure. It would be a good thing if people just refused to talk to them.

This morning, they had pictures of Obama, Biden, the Clintons, McCain and Palin all at their polling places casting their votes. I'm not really sure why this is news and seeing a picture of someone in the voting booth with their curtain closed, well, I guess we all know who they are voting for, don't we?
