And I missed all the fun.....dang! Oh well, I will put my two cents worth in anyway. Bob is delusional. I am glad some other folks are realizing this now. Power? He couldn't even stop the 'atrocity' of a development right across the water from him, but he wants you to believe that he had a hand in the boat ban. He most likely knew NOTHING of it till he read about it here. He is a joke and not even deserving of the ire that has already been sent his way. Just overlook him.

I was glad to see that others are starting to realize what a sham orginization the HOBO is. That was my soapbox last year, and I was all alone on it. I think the intentions were pure in the beginning, but the orginization got hijacked very early by a few folks with a hidden agenda. Well, hidden to those that wanted to start an orginization 'for all stakeholders'. I want call names at this time, but rest assured, I have opened a few eyes to the situation that the board is facing. I am just glad to see ohters are starting to see what I saw early on. Claiming to be for all stake holders and then going to court against a certain segment of those stake holders will be the reason for the downfall. I hate if for a couple of the folks involved, but you have to live and learn!

It's all rooted in self interest with individual agendas. Last year it was the lake level. Poor me, I can't get my boat in the water. This year it's the boat ban. Poor me, I can't buy a huge boat. Once again I will focus my argument on the fact that there are larger issues in life than a stupid lake.

LTL...while I do not have to do this I will set you straight on this issue. I did infact know and support the Boat ban and I am very proud of that fact. Secondly the horrendous development is no where near my home (I am in one those evil Russell developments) but it does not have to be since I still have eyes and value clean and well taken care of shoreline...
