Having declared Saudi and the Crown Prince pariahs after the journalist's murder, Biden makes a trip to Saudi to beg them to incresase oil production (so he can look like a hero before the midterms).  He claims that he confronted the Crown Prince at the start of their meeting, but funny, none of the Saudis remember it.  We all know that Biden is lying - he didn't confront the Crown Prince because it is not advisable to confront someone when you are trying to beg their help.  

He figured the American people weren't there, so he can just lie about it and claim the Saudis are lying.  And he came away with a very vague promise to increase production if the market is there sometime before 2027.  

The Saudis don't care about Biden - he claimed he was meeting with the King, and he may have said hello, but he was shuffled off to deal with the Crown Prince.  They are no longer dependent on the US for military sales and we in the US taught them how to be independent.  We are of no use to them diplomatically.  And while we may harrangue them about human rights, they point out our own failures.  

Biden thinks he is trying to keep them from getting too friendly with the Chinese and he should have the same concerns about Israel. These are pragmatic people that are going to do what is in their best interests.  

No doubt the Crown Prince knows he is dealing with an incompetent old fool.  And they got the best part of the deal, a photograph of a fist bump between Biden and Crown Prince - which makes Biden's "pariah" statements go away.

"(CNN)Saudi Arabia's de facto ruler, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, hit back at Joe Biden after the US President confronted him about the 2018 murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi during a meeting between the two leaders on Friday.

In the meeting, Bin Salman, also known as MBS, denied responsibility for the killing of Khashoggi at the kingdom's Istanbul consulate. Biden said US intelligence contradicted the prince's claims.

MBS countered with the sexual and physical abuse of prisoners at Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison by US military personnel and the killing of Palestinian American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh in the occupied West Bank -- incidents, he said, that reflected poorly on the US. Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudi foreign minister, detailed parts of the conversation in a press conference on Saturday."

My source was an interview with the Saudi Foreign Minister who said that it was not discussed.  It is possible that the subject was included in the briefing books for both sides and resulted in an exchange of papers.

Goofy's source is cnnBS.....and we all know how reliable they are.   They also said that Dementia Joe didn't read the instructions "Repeat Line Again" and "End of Quote".  off the teleprompter.  LOL!  Even the NYT took exception with what Biden said he said based on their actual reporting.  But cnnBS continues to work hard at driving viewers away.  Last one out the door please turn off the lights.

As the interview demonstrates Dementia Joe's claim that he "confronted" MSB about the killing and blamed hoim for it was indeed a lie.  He mentioned it to MBS, MBS explained his side of the story and that was the end of it.  As the NYT reported, there was no confrontation which is not surprising given he was there to beg them for more oil since he's destoyed our ability to produce it.  Heck, the guy interviewed said that DJ accepted the explanation and they moved on and it was never raised again.  So calling what happened a "confrontation" and "accusation that MBS was responsible" was indeed a lie...or as the NYT politely calls an "embellishment" much like has has been caught doing many other times.
