Not sure if you saw the news but CNN+ (their new paid subscription service) is not doing so hot.....as in awful  First, despite offering lifetime 50% off they have terrible subscription sales.  Second, while the new service kicks off in May the word on the street is they are planning layoffs in May.  Third, they will probably have to bundle (i.e., give away to inflate subscription rates) it with other products.  Think about it.  This is a group of talent that no one wants to watch for free even if forced to in airports and hotels but they take those very same people, put them behind a paywall and expect people to sign up.  Such is the utter madness and abject stupidity of CNN/AT&T/Warner senior management.....the ones that have not had to resign due to sex scandals.....yet.  It's a short list.....gets shorter every day.  

Here's some of their programming.  Jake Tapper reviewing books.  Chrissy Wallace being nasty to Republicans.  Jemele Hill and her race-fixated commentariat. Chris Cuomo.....oh wait a second.....  And the list goes on.......person after person that few people were willing to watch for free.  SMH and chuckling.

Apparently, these new subscription services are the trend.  I certainly wouldn't pay.  I think that CNN is desperately trying to rehab itself after leading the charge against Trump and becoming a mouth piece for liberals.  They gained a lot of credibility during the first Gulf War, but it's been sliding every since.  Right now they seem to have a never endding supply of retired Generals talking about the war.
