So now we learn that the CDC refuses to release vax data on a segment of the population and we all know why......it shows the vax and boosters in that age group are worthless. Then we find out that instead of acknowledging the harm that masking kids has caused they simply lowered development goals for kids.  Supposed to know x number of words by age 2 but the masks are causing them to fall behind so they simply reduced the standard. SOrt of like what they did with the definition of a vaccine.  Supposed to prevent disease but the faux vaxes are failing so change the definition to mean reduce serious symptoms and deaths.  1984 has come to the CDC and they are now officially a political organization and not a science-based agency.

Combine that with the incoherence of state governments and the Feds on masking and it is no wonder thoughtful people capable of critical thinking have had it with the pandemic.  I would love for someone to explain why states are removing mask mandates for everyone except the least vulnerable (kids in school).  While masking makes little sense for the vast majority of Americans, it makes zero sense for kids in school.  And yet, due to politics......cause I can assure you the science hasn't changed on the lack of effectiveness of masks, they look at the polls and start to drop mask mandates.  And of course the media, who called a GOP Governor a murderer the week before for ending mask mandates, hails those brave Democrat Guvs for doing the same thing a week later.

Follow the science but we will give you only the propaganda, uhhhhh I mean science, that supports our narrative.  One station had the former CDC guy , Redfield.  He could not say where 7 billion was spent and when pressed on what CDC needed to do said "The CDC will be better off if they just tell the truth".   Implications of that statement are overwhelming!

Even the FDA is furious with their lies and obfuscation.  If the vax doesn't help some age group just say it and let people make informed decisions.  These agencies, CDC, NIH, FDA have already killed hundreds of thousands of Americans by preventing safe, inexpensive and effective treatment options.  And they wonder why people don't trust and fear their government.  To do otherwise is ignorant and irrational.  They don't deserve our trust because they are driven by politics and not science.

MM, I don't agree with you about the value of the vaccine and boosters, but it is pretty clear that the CDC has lost all credibility.  If they were bad before, under the Biden administation, and new leadership, they have gotten that much worse.  I'm not sure anyone is listening to them anymore.  

I'm back in PT, and the hospital still requires masks; but I notice that the testing for COVID lines that were there a month ago, no longer exist.  I think with the decrease of cases, people have pretty much taken a "hell with it" approach to the whole thing.

Time will tell but I am 100% sure that the reason they are hiding the data is because it shows they are not working, at least for the age group 18-49.  And the reason I believe that is they admitted it is being withheld because it will fuel vaccine hesitancy.  Now why would study data on the efficacy of the vaccines and boosters fuel hesitancy?  Because it demonstrates they don't prevent infection and may not even positively impact symptoms, hospitalizations and deaths.  We don't know because they are hiding the data.  But we can make an educated guess and I have been correct about pretty much everything with this pandemic with some notable exceptions like believing social distancing was effective.
