It appears that the leadership of several of our cities have lost their collective minds.  They are moving to basically destroy or at least cripple their police forces and in the process open themselves up to true anarchy with the rule of law unenforceable.  It reminds me of the old saying that "they are burning down the barn to get rid of the rats".  If they carry through with this crime rates will skyrocket and law-abiding citizens will be left holding the bag.  It is truly remarkable how stupid these people can be.

Indeed.......and the people that will suffer the most are those most vulnerable as they live in crime-filled areas of these large cities.  But fear not about Minneapolis, it will be replaced with Sharia Law and after a few petty thieves have their hands chopped off they will amend their ways.  So what will happen?  Affluent areas will hire their own police force and poor areas will become like the Bakhar Market in Mogadishu.....the wild west.  So like all iberal policies, the elitist will be immune from its consequences, they will blame Republicans for the obvious disastrous policies and the sheeple will continue to vote for them.  It is utter madness.

I think the same thing.  That's a lot of jobs to abolish for a overly aggressive few.  People in NYC weren't too happy when crime was way up thanks to lax policing and voted in Bloomberg to fix the problem.  Not to mention what it does for tourism.  But it really shouldn't surprise anyone - typical knee-jerk reaction.

God forbid we get to this but if these fools weeken or eliminate the cops then people will not live like that and you will see a rise of the vigilantee. Citizens will not live in anarchy!
