OK, Archie.  Last night while K Harris was lamenting about how awful the economy is and that her people were working 2-3 jobs, I thought to myself......what is wrong with working 2-3 jobs?  Who said a 40 hour work week is a right?  I worked 2 jobs while a full time professional student and moonlighted on weekends in order to make ends meet.  Never blamed it on anyone.  Just did it.  And what about her story about the couple waiting at the ER doors with a child with a fever, knowing that as soon as they entered the doors, they would have to pay their deductible?  Were they waiting outside their pediatricians offices as well?  Were they waiting outside their pharmacies also knowing that in some form or fashion, a deductible would have to be paid? Most intelligent people save money for the deductibles by either saving a tax refund, working an extra shift, etc etc.  Your party wants the deductible paid for by taxpayers to those who contribute nothing to the pot.   Your party panders to the unintelligent.  Your party panders to those looking for someone to blame.  Your party panders to those wanting something that was earned by others and on top of that, your party blames high achievers.  I agree with Jon Voight....."I feel sorry for the ignorant".

The thing about her portrait of a young couple with a baby with a fever - I guess they don't know that if you go into the ER you will be treated regardless of their ability to pay - which is why all the illegals and poor show up there.  They will bill you and if you talk to them, I understand that they will reduce your bill and work out a payment.   And BTW, those high deductibles are thanks to Obamacare.  People have told me that the deductibles are so high on affordable plans, it's like having no insurance at all.  She didn't impress me - and last night she said that she supported Medicare for all, then today she backtracked saying she misunderstood the question.  I can pretty much guarentee you that she won't give up her health insurance any time soon.  She's in the same health insurance program I am in, and while it isn't exactly gold plated like people seem to say it is, it is still a good program. 

I thought she was shameless for going after Biden about supporting/not supporting bussing.  You know, memory is a funny thing - I was a kid, but it seems to me that bussing was not popular even at the time.  Kids were riding on bussing for over a hour to get to school, but coudn't attend their neighborhood school.  Remember the days of quotas?  No one liked that much either.  So Joe Biden was not the only one against Biden, and his point that he could work with his collegues that had a different point of view than he did, was lost now that Harris has accused him of being weak on civil rights.  I guess you will never have credibility with Blacks if you weren't always toeing the line of their beliefs.  

I have been called a racist, but like Joe Biden, I will put my record on the line with anyone else.  I have no problem with equality, I just don't believe we should try to make up for slavery, buy making one group have more quality.  

LOL, I heard them talk about income inequality (again Harris with her people working 2-3 jobs), so my question is this:  how much of a cut in salary is Congress willing to take so we can redistribute their wealth?

i WORKED MY WAY THROUGH 4 YEARS OF UNDERGRAD & 2 YEARS OF MBA  --40-6S hours/weeek jobs--so  I WOULD HAVE NO DEBT & my dad wouldnt borrow money----I saved for my daughters for 2 degrees each so they would have no debt & they also had jobs for spending money & rent--I'll be damned if you will take my hard earned assets to pay off someone else college debt--as I speak Im researching off shore banks for my savings

To begin with there is no ''my party''.  I do not vote party but individual.  I do certainly confess in the last 10 years my voting for a Republican has become very rare indeed because, what I assume you gladly claim as ''your party'', has been hyjacked by a base, and I use the term base in more than one way, element that always appeals to the worst in people rather than to their ''better angels''.  I think you are a good person, but I believe you have been hoodwinked by Trump and the vile people around him.  That is my honestly held belief.  Now Answer me honestly, do you think Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush or Dwight Eisenhower much less Teddy Roosevelt or Abe Lincoln, would be proud supporters of today's Republican Party?  Please tell me.

Ronald Reagan was a proud liberal most of his life, so I don't necessarily believe that he would bemoan the current Republican Party that still stands for the Second Amendment, limited Government, protection of the defenseless unborn, strong military, lower taxes, two genders, absolute secure borders, .......come to think of it, please read the Democratic Platform in 1960.  Strikingly similar.  JFK supported most of these positions as well.  I turn your question back to you, how would JFK feel about HIS party now?
