   I have never heard of a grand jury empanneled to look for a crime. I thought there had to be charges brought against a defendant and the grand jury formed to look into the validity of those charges and only those charges. Remember the old adage that they could indite a "ham sandwich". Here we have a group running rampant who are just about as impartial an Adolph Ikeman's jury. There intent is to bring in Trump dead or alive reguardless of any guilt. Integrirty on the left is about as common  as unicorns!

The principal advantage of the grand jury for prosecutors is the ability to issue subpoenas to compel testimony and the production of documentary or other physical evidence. No investigation of any complexity can be advanced without this capacity. When I say “advanced,” I do not mean a progression toward the filing of criminal charges — at least not necessarily. An investigation should be a search for the truth, which means getting to the bottom of what happened, regardless of whether crimes can be proven.

Thus, the fact that we now have a grand jury does not mean a crime has been committed, much less that the filing of charges must be imminent. Still, the impaneling of a grand jury is a highly significant development. Prosecutors do not seek the assistance of the grand jury’s subpoena power, and do not contemplate presenting evidence to a grand jury, unless they see a realistic possibility of filing criminal charges.

This investigation is taking on a life of its own.  Someone needs to put an end to it and publish a report on what they found.  But if Trump goes down, Hilary will not be the President.  Mike Pence will be President and he might not be as easy to beat in 2020 as Democrats think.  There are some very good people on the staff now, which no doubt Pence would keep.

I agree that this investigation has gotten out of hand. We go through eight years with nothing under Obama being investigated and four years under Hillary and her meeting with Comey is called a "matter". I think we all have concluded that "Matters don't Matter". I agree with you that something has to be done to "stop" Mueller and the sixteen or more lawyers who stand to get rich off off this idiotic investigation. I find it amusing that most all of the previous "heads" of the Intelligrnce Agencies when asked denied that there was any evidence showing collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
