have a new family in our slough that needs to learn how to be courteous.  Yesterday they pulled skiers in our slough and dropped off at their dock.  Waves were making everything turn upside down .  I politely told them they were 'f' idiots and could go back to Atlanta.  Our slough is 75 yds wide at the most with houses on both sides.  They looked at me with no understanding of why I was upset.  Next time I am calling the marine police.

Are talking about the new Scott and Paula? I wasn't here all day but I bet you were. If so I will talk to them. Brand new lake folks with no clue. The guy cooks some dang good ribs though. They are good folks, just new to Lake life.

Coil. In fact as I write this he is at your place awaiting. It was his young son who he had already scolded. As you know by now, nice folks who want to be good neighbors. Looks like fireworks will happen but remember it will be Monday the 3rd. I need pledges ASAP so I k ow how much I have to spend.

Cool,and BTW I keep records every year of donations and expenses and will provide to anyone at anytime should they think I am trying to make money off the show. I spend every penny I collect plus my own contribution. Some folks got an attitude a few years ago when we had live music and felt like I used collections to pay for that too. I didn't. Scott paid the musicians separate from fireworks. Besides anytime I do the live music thing anyone is welcome to come and enjoy. Most choose to just stay home and enjoy the music from their place which I understand too.

i find that using phone to take their picture & boat registration & telling them you are the Marine Police monitor for your area works well

IT is also well established in this thread that the issue has been addressed with the parents of the offenders, apologies made and accepted. Those of us affected by the behavior have moved on to other things. Like I already stated good, nice folks who will be good neighbors. A youthful indiscretions was addressed by the parental units as quick as they were aware and put to bed today. Move along folks, nothing to see here.
