every day without fail. Lake and home, if I am resident. It is NOT because it is a custom. To me, it is just a symbol of MY Country, and a salute to the history that has brought us here to this time in history. And, it is a beautiful welcome to a patriotic family,,Ya'll!! And it will cause a 911 event if it is abused on my property.

Hundreds of thousands of people have died carrying that flag in their hands or on a shoulder patch.

When I see displays of American Citizens exibiting disdain for their nation's symbol? Whether it is a failed professional athlete seeking one more minute of fame, or a low grade female Navy idiot failing to salute it, it confirms to me that My country is in deep trouble. And our normal sources of Confidence in the USA, namely a strong Military, the Media, our "Representatives"at their clubs, Our leadership vacationing somewhere, or others who are in "Recess for Months", none inspire security at all. Just keep those bucks flowing into the trough folks. And, fold very quickly to any hint of a PC violation.

Change it or die. I will be flying my flag for all of you who do not.

No one should ever have to justify why they are flying the flag of our country.  A lot of good people have given their lives for our freedom and as you point out, the flag stands for everything that our country had been and everything it will be in the future.
