So the Chinese president, before arriving the the US this week to meet with Obama, says the world "dollar" based currency system is a "product of the past". He advocates shifting to the Yuan. Fat chance that the world financial powers would allow a communist dictatorship, slave nation, dog/baby food poisoning, student shooting entity control a world currency.
Besides, would we then have to say "A day late and a Yuan short", or how about "Yuans to donuts"? Would those round things you find on a beach be then called "sand Yuans"?
Fill in at your pleasure!

Another day, another yuan.

Clint Eastwood would star in the movie "Fistful of Yuans"? One of my favorite CE movies btw......

Bet your bottom Yuan?
Doesn't work for me. But all this talk is a bit worrying because there is sufficient sentiment to switch from the dollar because of our strong dollar talk and weak dollar walk (a policy by the way that preceded Obama). Good for exports but causes rising precious metals and oil prices which fuels inflation and hurts our economy.
The good news is it would be such a food fight as to what currency to switch to that I don't think they could ever agree but you never know.

BTW, how about the Steelers? What is funny is I did not have high expectations for the game but for some reason I had a sense that they were not going to roll over after the first half. I can only imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth in Baltimore......they must feel cursed.
Am glad the Jets won as well, not that I think they are going to be easy to bet. Just happy to be at home instead of New England playing the Pats. Any predictions? I am debating as I may have access to a ticket to the game. Just not sure I can swing it with my travel schedule lately......

Jets did a nice job beating two stationary quarterbacks over the last two weeks. I like our speed in our receivers, Ike Taylor is as good as Revis, our linebackers are smarter, pass rush is better, home field is huge. I may have access to a ticket or two but won't know until tomorrow. Just to be there for the tailgate is worth the trip!

MM,
I asked my wife if I could transform our greatroom into something like this! I especially liked the Steeler ceiling fan blades and the Bengals toilet seat. Where can I get a Steeler shower curtain???? Bobble heads and beer cans make fantastic decorating accessories!!

Now that's a basement. I thought I was doing OK with my Pittsburgh Steeler's tap handle.
