Heard on FOX News (Bret Baier) this PM that USA Passports will change and Mother and Father will be replaced by Parent 1 and Parent 2. Does Hillary have to approve something of this magnitude?

With out commenting on whether we should have ever gotten into this mell of a hess or how we did, I wonder how children of divorced and remarried parents fill it out? What about single mothers? Would it be "Mother" and "BTSOOM"?

Well, in the case of divorce, I guess your mother is still your mother and your father is still your father. But in the case of a same sex parenting? I think you end up with two mothers or two fathers. I've never been an advocate of same sex adoptions. I don't care what two consenting adults do, but I don't think a child should be brought into the picture.

The whole concept of two parents is an anachronism - a large portion of today's society already has that experience, and since we have this uncomfortable situation with gay people (it is so unfeeling to reference a biological fact as "mother" or "father", "bitch/sire" etc.), why not just leave a blank for one guardian/parent/significant other. Less confusion for all involved, right?
