Yeah, I've heard a few people use that s**t kicker line a few times. I recognized it for what it was, and wasn't taken in by it. I knew a Col (at the time, later a 3 star General) who used it with great success at times. So I'm sure a s**t kicker like yourself will understand that I don't give it another thought -- after all, at heart I'm an *$$ kicking Jersey girl.

I don't necessarily think that people in small towns are necessarily any different than other people. They understand the power of the "group think" so when they don't agree, they just don't vocalize it. Not wanting to suffer the consequences. It's kinda like Junior High that never stops.

Letters to the Editor are just that -- people write what they want and they get published in the newpaper. The next day, their thoughts get thrown out with the trash or dumped in the recycling bin.

I'd vote for a yellow dog (the tail wagging kind) before I'd vote for Sarah Palin.
