Anyone know what is going in on the big piece of property on 280 and Old Dadevile Rd or Old Dadeville Rd and Coley Creek? Also on 280 and Coven Abbott Rd?

I HAD THE SE PARCEL AT 280/WIND CREEK//COVEN UNDER CONTRACT (cash) LAST YR for a 5 story hotel//shopping center--it crashed and burned when we found out ALDOT had plans to close that intersection--multiple meetings with ALDOT, even including alex city mayor, couldnt convince ALDOT to alter plans--so my buyers went away , commission lost & about $8 mill investment--so i have no idea whats happening; they wouldnt even consider red light --discussion over & out

Well, somebody spent a lot of money clearing the lot if DOT is maybe, going to put a round-about there. Would rather see the hotel.

How long ago was this deal you had? I ask because I have known about them eding Daveville Rd. at the concrete plants entrace for 2+ years maybe. I knew this with no more knowledge real estate or highway plans than what I have read in teh local paper, tehy actualy published drawings showing how it will end there. My question is what professionals did you rely on when brokering this deal, that didn't disclose the same knowledge? Inquiring mind want to know.
