   A difficult old General was in the hospital demanding everything and making himself unpleasent. 

  Finally an orderly walked into his room and said, "Roll over Sir. Doctors orders, I must take a rectal temperature."

   Inserting the "instrument, he said, "General, I have to run down the hall for a second but I will be right back." and disappeared.

  A few minutes later a nurse walked in and exclained, "General, what are you doing?"

   "Getting my temperatore, What the Hell do you think I an doing?"

   "But sir," she replied, "With a daffodil?"
