The GOP had a very good and reasonable candidate in Ag Comm Gary Black but Trump talked this idiot into jumping into the race and the sheeple who now run the Republican party in GA jumped on the Trumpista bandwagon and selected CRD'd buddy who is too dumb to pour piss out of his boot.  I would not have supported Mr Black in the general, but I, GA and the nation would not have been embarrassed nor endangered by him becoming a senator.  Herschel Walker makes Tuberville look like Einstein.

While maybe not stated in the most eloquent manner, what he states is quite true. Look again and think about it. There is no magic curtain around the US that keeps our air in and polluted air from the rest of the world out. Try paying attention to the message and not the messenger.  China and India are laughing at us as they continue to amass the billions and trillions of dollars at our expense.  I am not against a verifiable world solution to global warming, but agree with Herschel Walker that the Green New Deal is throwing good money after bad.

I am registered professional geologist (AL & TN), a geophysicist, and a military trained meteorological observer (93E).

There is NO “verifiable world solution” to global warming. CO2 has NOTHING to do with “global warming.” It does not exist in the same energy of oscillation (eV) frequency with respect to upgoing thermal radiation transmission.

I am so sorry for that mind numbing paragraph. But then, I do not depend on federal grants for regulating my scientific thought processes. Just ask… I will post the numbers.

Go to weather underground.com and look at the maps section – jet stream. Notice the paths the jet stream takes as it circumnavigates the globe. We are NEXT after Asia.

CO2 has peaked at 419.35 ppm in Hawaii this month. What does that mean? Well, if you had a packed stadium at the Iron Bowl, you would not be able to pick out the 41.94 Mississippi State fans screaming for Alabama.  An Army divison is about 10,000 soldiers. The represenative sample of these 41 screaming fans is 1 platoon out of 10 divisions.

A gas that does not share the relevant energy of oscillation (eV) frequency is not trapping upgoing energy… and THAT gas exists at 4 hundredths of 1 percent… and you are concerned about THAT?

WE ARE INDEED CRAPPING UP OUR EARTH. But, CO2 is NOT the problem.

The likelyhood that the Heisman man had the slightest idea about air quality is about as likely as l would be able to explain quantum physics to a 2 year old.  If in your heart of hearts you actually think this mental and moral low life is worthy of a seat in the United States Senate you seriously need to have an unbiased heart to heart with yourself.  I am happy to know however that you are able to see that something might need to be done to address climate change.

First of all I didn't say anything about climate change.  Read my post more carefully before someone comes to the conclusion that you are the moron in the conversation.  Next, all you have done is throw out unsubstantiated ad hominem attacks against the Republican senatorial candidate.  You are entitled to your opinion and not the least bashful about trying to foist it upon those who don't agree with you.  Doesn't make it any more correct, just louder.  Reminds me of a saying when I was growing up "guilty dog barks loudest"  Seems it applies to you.  If you were truly confident in your opinions you wouldn't try to force us to accept them as fact.  Sen kafana bozmushun.

Frankly I mis-spoke.  What I should have said is "If there IS global warming caused by humans I wouldn't mind a verifiable global solution".  Not sure where you got the idea I was talking about CO2, because I didn't explicitly state that was my concern.  Rather, I was taking about global warming for whatever reason (from what I read most warming devotees do believe CO2 is the reason). 

Now I am not a geologist, geophysicist, or a partridge in a pear tree but there are an awful lot of scientists with CVs as good as and better than yours who seem to think differently.  I don'tknow what to believe because my BA in Chemistry and management-related advanced degrees don't prepare me to argue from a position of scientific knowledge.

Maybe you can tell us this:  Why is your assessment seemingly in the minority? Is there a worldwide conspiracy to advance a fraudulent theory that man-made CO2 emissions are warming the earth and will cause an awful lot of coastal cities to become modern day Venices?  Where is the disconnect between your assessment and theirs?  And if it isn't CO2 causing warming...and there really is warming, what is causing it?

This post may appear to be combative but it really isn't.  Just trying to understand and hope where challenged you can answer with something Archie will never abide:  Logic and reason.

Now do you want to nitpick about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin? You are damn right l have opinions as do you.  The difference is l defend your right to promote yours as off the wall crazy as l might consider them whereas you are always more than willing to belittle mine.  Perhaps you need to send a contribution to Mr Walker since you seem To admire him.  Perhaps you need to send dollars to Vance, Greitens, and Oz too.

BTW: Do you know whether Mr Walker graduated in the top 1% of his class at UGA as he claims? Do you agree with his opposition to abortion even to preserve the life of the woman? Would you support Mr Walker if he did not have an R after his name?  Yeah...I know more "gotcha" questions that you will refuse to answer.

I suspect you, like me, would guess that even though Mr H cannot vote for Walker because he is an AL voter, he would vote for Herschel  if he was in GA?  Wish I was wrong because Mr H on rare occasion seem a littl more open to reality than the average forum member but after all Walker has that (R) after his name and that is all that counts.

Wonder if CRD is still on the Walker bandwagon?

Send it via email if that works for you.  A loooong time ago at an Air War College seminar we had a meteorologist give a speech where he basically said "global warming" would solve itself because the additional humidity from warmer oceans woud generate more cloud cover and thus counter the effects of any such warming.  I do find it curious that the name has changed to "climate change" vice "global warming".  Maybe to cover the scam of the millenium??

Prior to the Cambrian Period, the earth had little Oxygen and a plethora of CO2.  Before that there was the Hadrean Earth when there was No atmosphere, NO ocean, and no solid crust.  The sun was at about 70% of its luminosity.  In about 10 billion years the sun's current luminosity should increase by 10% as it becomes a yellow giant. The earth will be toast.
