Had out of towners here this weekend and we went out to eat Saturday evening.  We went to niffers only to have them tell us we must wear a mask to enter, even offered us a free one.  Whee!

So we promptly turned around and left.  We went to Oscars instead and had a good meal, spent about $100.  Niffers turned that money away.  We saw others doing the same thing we did.  Besides loosing money it proves the lesbians that own the place are good little democrats and will vote for Hiden.  I'm not saying I am never going back, but I can assure you it wont be as frequent, especially considering there are 3 other options within minutes of them.  I wonder if they are listening to deblasio and making folks pull up their masks between bites.  

Talk about shooting oneself in the foot.  I bet they took as much of the PPP money as they could get yet still bitch and whine about how Trump ruined the economy and the virus is all his fault.  If he had done more, faster, then she wouldn't be having to turn folks away that want to spend money in her business, yada yada yada.

I was curious about this and took a poll, individually, of my staff members, asking if they were more likely to patronize a restaurant that required masks to enter, or favor one that did not mandate.  100% of my very knowledgable staff stated that they would not patronize one that mandated mask wearing, BECAUSE, to them it inferred that they weren't paying close enough attention to the other details, such as distancing, hygiene, cleaning surfaces as diligently as possible etc etc.  Those that did not mandate mask wear, were viewed as being more at ease and confident in their COVID protocol and thusly, more desireable to potential customers.  

What still causes me to shake my head and wonder is why, when Biden is answering questions to a single reporter, both being over 20 feet away from each other, no one else in the cameraview  are they both wearing masks? Perplexing to say the least.

It mostly has to do with the smug liberals who want to let you know that they are wearing that mask because it will save your life ( as long as you are not protesting then you are safe regardless ).

Its a "look, I care"  - its all about the feelings and vibes that make them feel better because they care.

I have seen way to many "Look, I am wearing a mask to save your life" stickers and pins to which I just shake my head and laugh.

It is pure BS - after sucking air through the mask for 4-8 hours a day it is a moist virus/bacterial playground and passed being helpful about 1 hour in - all it is now is a catchers mit that might as well be a petri dish in an ideal environment that you are huffing and puffing through causing it to be a lawn sprinkler of toxicity.

I could be off base, but I wonder if restaurants tend to set their policies that make the majority of their customers comfortable.  Lifer, you were lucky you had another option close by.

I am very much a political conservative. Most all if not all restaurants  I go to requie a face mask to enter. What is the big deal? Wear the dang face mask.
