The boss has come home the last two days with names of local folks she has heard are in the database. I havent even tried to locate it but did read one interesting analysis of someone that did. The results were very revealing and hilarious to me. It seems exactly 0% of the real, active accounts were women. There were 31+ million men and 5+ million women listed in the database. When those account were analyzed however the author concluded at the most 12k accounts that were "active", and even concluded that some of those might have been men pretending to be women for whatever reasons.

As I stated I havent seen the data much less analyzed it but it was a very compelling piece and the conclusions seemed solid. It seems that once you signed up you had to pay them a fee to cancel and then your profile remained in the database. I don't remember where i first saw it but i noticed this morning it was linked on Drudge. Worth the few minutes to read for a glimpse into how the sleaze bags of the internet work.
