Seen the economic reports lately?  I have to hand it to you, your timing was absolutely perfect.  As I stated in several other posts we are over 54 months into a very weak recovery, the worst since FDR, and unfortunately may be headed into another recession.  I suspect Billary will be reconsidering her running if the recession happens because she lacks the political skills to distance herself from Obola and his abysmal administration.  

I am glad I didn't take the time to dissect all those cherry picked points......looks like events in the US are going to take care of that for me.  What is needed is some adult supervision and that will not happen with Billary.  She is not the pragmatist like Slick Willie and will not go along with the GOP and do what actually makes sense.  I know, I only criticize her because I am a mysoginist, right?  2015 we replace bigotry toward minorities with the war on women.  And sadly, like blacks and Hispanics, far too many women will fall for the lies.

I don't want Hilary as our next president, but what is going in the market has more to do with global concerns rather than any policies put forth by the Administration.  Most of the time when the market tanks, it has more to do with global economic concerns than it does anything specificially in the U.S (although we are part of the global economy).  But the good news is, companies that make and sell HAZMAT suits are booming.  Most investors see a down market as an opportunity.

I know you love to pull the quotes that make you feel better but the markets (both domestic and global) are responding to signs of weakness in the US market as well as global markets.  Do you need me to cherry pick my quotes from news articles that mention domestic issues?  But my point is that waterph was crowing about how great the stock market was and giving credit to dear leader.  Since he was so willing to give him credit for the highs was he man enough to blame him for the drop?  He has been strangley silent after his drive by making me think he is related to Archibald.  But that was never a question with you GF, as you have such low expectations for the black guy that he can't be blamed for anything.  Such is the life of soft bigotry.....

Sadly, we are probaby near the end of the worst recovery since FDR and if we go into a recession, then using your constant refrain that Bush caused the prior one (which I have proven to be false), then I am allowed to blame Obola for this one.  If you want to take back Bush having any responsibility for the last recession I will reconsider.  Up to you but you can't have it both ways.

Style is using correct grammar in special patterns. For example, I sometimes use three dots “…” in place of a comma to extend a pause in reading… to emphasize a point… or create an emotion. Incorrect grammar may be used between quotes to preserve the speech and or diction patterns in presenting the words of a speaker or writer. For example, GF wrote, “…me can sleep better.”

Incorrect grammar should never be used in narrative. It cannot be, in this situation, passed off as "style."  If it so appears, the writer is unintentionally displaying a deficiency. There are instances where incorrect grammar, punctuation, or spelling appear… even on my posts. These are normally immediately obvious as typographical errors… “typos”… fast fingers.

Yes it is amazing (your word, not mine)  that he has the masters, and the instution that issued it should be embarassed when he writes.  Proof positive that education and intelligence have nothing to do with each other in some cases.  As for me, after I did the 6th and 7th grade two times each I figured I knew enough to get by.

I try to not be one who brags and do not feel the forum is meant to be a place to extol ones accomplishments, but since you offered the challenge I find it hard to not respond. I have a BS degree in chemistry, an MBA, and a Masters degree in education. I served my country in the military, retiring as a Lt. Colonel. I could offer other accomplishments but that would be useless since you seem to consider yourself the "Queen" of one-upmanship. Why not just respond logically to the subject matter at hand without always trying to be the expert on every topic?

Did you even read this thread before you attacked me?  If you didn't I suggest that you do.  I'll remind you again that if you don't like my comments, you are free to block me and you don't ever have to read another word that I write.  Instead of attacking me, perhaps you should write from your experience on topics.  You will notice that despite my experience with government budgets, I would not presume to pretend I know how HHS should allocate their budget, as does Lifer.  Why don't you ask him what in his experience makes him an expert?

For the record, my DH has not been on this forum in years.  So maybe you should ask yourself why Lifer feels the need to continue to attack him.

Where did I claim to be an expert or portend to tell HHS how to allocate/spend their budget?  Pointing out that only a very small percentage actually went toward their supposed mission of preventing/contolling commucable disease is neither.  Only you would make that stretch. 

As for my accomplishments....try another line of attack.  You and your DH wore that lame game plan out years ago.  Why do I continue to bring him up?  Easy, it really gets under your skin and that makes good sport for me.  Your continual petty attacks on me and others makes you look just as you are, an elitist that looks down on others until/unless they prove their worth to be in your esteemed company.

A little history for you Buteye.  This predates you by 10+ years when her Dumb Husband first found the forum.  It was in its infancy then and was used mainly by me a few others primaraly to play word games.  Then Lamar showed up.  If you think Hound comes off as a know it all you shoulda been around then.  Lamar felt it was his responsibillity to respond to every post with his sage advice and wisdom.  No matter what the subject, he had the answers.  Even on all things Lake Martin, that he had just discovered, while the rest of us had been here all our lives.  The culmination of that phase was when a few of us set him up.  We posted on many subjects with exorbidant tales just to see if we could find something that he didn't respond to with his great wisdom.  The best was when a post went up with a story about a fellow finding what he thought to be a very large uncut diamond in his grandparents belongings after their death.  His story was that he was thinking of trying to 'cut' it himself.  Good ole Lamar hopped right on in with advice on how to do it if he chose to try.  A truly laughable moment.  I was a partner in lucrative jewelry business at the time, hence the idea, but knew only the basics of cutting stones and had never seen it done, but Lamar know all there was to know about the subject.

Then the forum caught on and grew and lamar felt it was his duty to police the action.  He would even demand to know if posters actually owned waterfront property and felt they had no right to post unless they did.  In some instances, including me, demanding proof that we owned property.  It got real ugly at one point culminating with him and a couple of allies demanding Bruce ban me for life.  I'm still here.  When he slunk away in despair Hound stepped in.  They are peas in a pod.  They are the type that feels better about themselves by demeening and belittling others.  Build themselves up by tearing others down, as you have witnissed.  I thought maybe she had changed after having her moderator status revoked for abuse of power but obviuosly that Leopard hasn't changed its spots.  Dare challenge her and you will feel her wrath in the form of some type of belitting comment on your station in life and if that FAILS she will fall back into the grammer police show her superiority.  I find that especially humoruos after reading years of her Dumb Husbands drivel where he couldn't express a cogent thought through the written word with his use of incomplete sentences, improper subject/verb, etc. etc..

I find your response to my last two entries amusing. You chose to remind me that if I don't like your comments that I am free to block you and never read another word that you write. Why don't you apply the same guidelines to yourself? If you don't like their comments, just block them and you won't have to continue your attacks. It appears to me that your main interest in the forum is that it provides you an outlet to attack other people and demonstrate your areas of expertise. As to your comments about my use of the word "themselves" vs. "theirselves", I don't think that the forum is intended to be treated in the same vein as if it is a "term paper" being graded by a college English professor. I think everyone should feel comfortable to contribute to the forum without feeling they may be embarrassed because their level of education is going to be attacked. Sometimes a lot can be learned by listening to what others who may not have the same level of education and experiences have to say. And finally, in response to your suggestion that I should question Lifer about your DH's earlier forum entries, I could care less.

I asked a well respected Forum guru how I would know if the contents of a post was accepted by another poster. The summation of the extensive response was as follows:

If one attacks the poster or the message structure but not the contents of the message, the poster agrees with the contents. You are not one to shy away from attacking a message that you diagree with. Since your issue was a "me" rather than an "I"  but not the contents, you obviously agreed with the contents.

Maj., GF has two, maybe three things to say and he will repeat them on any thread at any time without regard for propriety.  You can try to engage him in meaningful debate, and if you were to succeed you'd probably be the first.  Hound mentioned in another post today that people hide behind aliases, and she has a very good point.  I tried to open an off forum conversation with GF, revealing my real identity but he refuses to reciprocate, even doing online data mining to get more information on me, all the while refusing to reveal his identity.  I don't know if GF is a coward, but he is certainly acting in a cowardly fashion to me.
