lol.... but hey, you made the challange! I was really looking forward to seeing you pull that one off (Cat must be texting behind the scene while teachin' you the art of smack talk). That said, Talisi and I have  been trying to get the PuddyTat  to go even up on Butts (or whatever) for years and he always runnoft skeered; Now that he's finally got himself some expertise backup (and the Maddog Crutch), we could finally be on to a good throwdown. CAT is in day 3 of SERIOUS Gout in my left ankle.  Absolutely unbearable.  I just pray for relief today.  Normally it starts gettin' better on the third day.  Litterally brings tears to my eyes.  Gimme a day, I'll be back.

Cat....how are you doing with the gout problem. We need to get rolling as soon as you can. Even ole Lifer has jumped into the cook off deal. Hell, I didn't even think he could spell "smoker" much less know how to use one. Now he wants to jump into this cat and dog fight. Let me hear from you. Have smoker will travel.

You got it wrong RabidDog.  The only participation I want in the cook off is as a taster, and not even a judging taster at that.  You seem to have missed that I have expressed bias on the issue many times with comments like "CAT can't cook"....lol.  Of course I make that comment having never tasted anything he has cooked, I just jumped on the CAT can't cook" bandwagon for the joy of the ride.  It is of course well documented that I do enljoy stirring the pot a bit, and I ain't talking a cook pot.

As for the "smoker" comment I readily admit to lack of skills in the the spelling department.  In fact it is often so bad that spell checker will have NO suggestions....lol.  I have smoked a few whole pigs in years past for my annual 4TH of July gathering and have been told it was great but I am not a big fan of smoking meats in general.  I eat it from time to time and had to borrow a smoker in the past when I did use one so I will not be joining the imaginary cook-off and in the future I will remind any poster who mentions it of the proposed and pending BAN on posts regarding said fantasy.

CAT can't cook, but I can.  I will put my chicken and dumplings against anybody.  Same for my home made chicken pot pie.  I also do a "taco pie" that is darn tasty too.  So if this fantasy cook off league ever becomes a reallity and the powers that be wish to include catagories other than 'smoking' I might be a player.  Until then I will just set to simmer and stir occasionally.
