Went to Big Beach yesterday to cut grass and clean up.  My wife was raking the beach while I cut the grass.  Pontoon boat was already there with 2 adults and a couple of kids.  I unloaded my lawnmower and set my weed eater on front of boat. Cut the grass and started to load up.  Pontoon boat was gone and so was my Ryobi gas weed eater.   Real lowlife took it.  My wife and I was busy doing what we went there to do and wasn't paying attention to the other people.   Our mistake.  I hope their boat sinks.

Me too Rooster, me too.  Great example for the kids.  And BTW, thanks what you have done this summer at the entrance.  I have not contributed at all this year, or last for that matter between all the construction and some health issues my "uasable hours" of the day are a lot less than they used to be. 

If there is ever another situation like that, make sure to take an obviuos picture of their registration.  Sad we have think like that.

Atta boy.  Still ignoring accurate reporting by attacking the source.  Tell us oh wise one, what exactly was incorrect in the article?  The guy came in and started stealing stuff...he threatened them with a gun more than once.....the workers beat him into submission with a stick....they are now being "investigated" by the police.  None of that is remotely incorrect.  Of course that assumes you even read the article....which I doubt very much.  Otherwise you would have stayed silent.

You need to change your name to LackofCriticalThinking...it suits you better.

I'm really sorry that happened.  I cannot imagine why anyone would want to steal your weedeater - unless they though they were still "from the man" and not a private person.  This year has been among the worst in the 15 years I have lived here, when people were complaining about the rudeness and incivility of people on the lake.  I can only think it is just a reflection of where our society is now.

Looks like LackofCT thinks you're an old man.  Not to worry, he doesn't like me either apparently.  I would agree with him that for the most part that Alex Jones is not someone I would go to for information....interestingly the only thing I ever read from the guy was the post SB linked to so I could judge for myself it's accuracy.  On the facts it was mostly correct but that may have been a squirrel finding an acorn.  He's too far out there for me.

In his defense if you had to argue on the merits you lose every time so it's much safer to call people names....not terribly intellectually honest or rigorous, but it's literally all they have.  Why I renamed him LackofCriticalThinking.  Much closer to the truth.  By the way, I don't think you look all that old in your picture.
